3 Best Hotels in Chattanooga, TN

LOVE this hotel! Beautifully preserved and updated Art Deco style hotel with cool twists with decor and music. Boutique ambiance and also great food and beverage outlets. The public spaces are truly gorgeous. The speakeasy style hotel bar is wonderful. We interacted with lots of staff. Every one came across so friendly and honestly charming! Beautifully redone indoor pool next to a newly finished outdoor garden. We stayed in a corner tower room that was spacious and super comfortable. The only wish I can make is better shower pressure and bath products, but it's fine and the bathroom is large and beautiful. Even the guestroom hallways are beautiful. We added and extra night because we loved the experience so much. I've worked in hospitality and hotels for years and this place truly is a SPECIAL experience. At least with our stay. We will return!

When staying in Chattanooga, I definitely recommend staying at the Read House. The historic ambiance of the hotel is incredible. As a writer, I couldn’t help appreciate the many nooks around the hotel and even spent most of my first day writing in the library. The rooms are clean and the bar is often bustling. I was also glad to have an accessible gym, though I wish I could have figured out how to keep the treadmill from squealing. I didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool but perhaps next time. There’s also shopping and restaurants within walking distance. I’ll be back!

Had dined in their fabulous restaurant and enjoyed the wonderful bar several times. Had a last minute trip and stayed last night. Very impressed. Oldest hotel in City, quite historic. Comfortable beds, fine linens, fluffy/large towels. Valet was reasonable at $27. Only suggestion is to have coffee available in lobby for night owls and early risers. Highly recommend.

I wanted to take a moment to commend the incredible staff who made our recent stay truly exceptional. Lisa, Jemima, Eliana, Martha and Joy were absolute superstars during my current and previous stays with every interaction. They were incredibly accommodating and handled any issues we encountered quickly and feasibly, with both professionalism and genuine kindness. As an Army veteran, the level of care and customer service they provided meant so much to me. Each of them went above and beyond to assist in every way possible. The breakfast was also a highlight....well-prepared and well-attended by a friendly attentive team. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and look forward to many more stays in the future. I’ll be honest, prior to stays here over the past year....we were loyal to another property in town for years. But your team’s exceptional customer service has completely won us over. Your staff should be recognized and commended for their outstanding work. If it were up to me, I’d give them all a raise! Keep up the great work. We’ll definitely be back.

Great stay and fantastic staff. The m Lounge experience was exceptional. Ms Jennifer and Denise made me always feel comfortable and well fed and watered. The gentleman who makes the hot sauce and beautiful fruit trays should win the VIP- valued in performance award. Possibly the best hot sauce I’ve ever tasted. I can’t wait to come back to this Marriott. I’m a Titanium member with over 1250 nights in Marriott so when I say exceptional property- please trust this review. No matter what part of the hotel we were in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and welcoming. The food was amazing as always! The food was a little pricey, but worth it.
