3 Best Hotels in Memphis, TN

We love the Peabody. Full of history. The lobby is beautiful and it is fun to see the ducks in the fountain. We had drinks in the lobby bar and met some tourists from Great Britain. There was a wedding reception upstairs in the hall that had a band that played way too loud and drowned out the piano player in the lobby which is usually what we want while having drinks and during conversation. They do have another bar that is much quieter that I recommend if you prefer a quieter vibe but hey, it’s Memphis on a Saturday night. The rooms are nice. Bathroom is very small so plan on getting ready in the morning one at a time. The duck shaped soaps were cute. Overall great time at the Peabody!

We didn’t stay at The Peabody, but we popped in to see the famous Peabody duck walk—and it was totally worth it! The lobby is gorgeous, full of old-school charm and elegance. We also checked out the gift shop, which had some really cute souvenirs and duck-themed items. If you go, don’t miss the rooftop “Duck Palace,” where the ducks live when they’re not in the lobby fountain. It’s a fun little extra that not everyone knows about, and the rooftop views are beautiful too. All in all, a fun and memorable stop. Highly recommend swinging by, even if you’re just passing through Memphis!

Hotel with a lot of history. Located right next to Beale street and a lot of other Memphis history. Just a 15 minute walk from the Civil Rights Museum. There are ducks that swim in the fountain in the lobby and there is a grand parade for the ducks every day. There is a duck theme, so you’ll find ducks everywhere. There is a gift shop, restaurant, deli/desserts place, clothing stores and jewelry stores all in the hotel. The lobby is large and beautiful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Memphis, and I must say, my experience was exceptional, thanks in large part to Ms. Jackie. From the moment I arrived, she went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Her warm and welcoming personality made me feel right at home. First off this hotel has some of the friendliest group of workers I have encountered in all my travels. They greeted every person as they came in with great southern hospitality!! They were helpful and didn't make it seem like you were a bother when asking questions or for help. There rooms were clean upon arrival and they cleaned each day with respect for your property. It's located where there is shopping and restaurants. Traffic was not to bad. I would stay here again with no hesitation. Great appreciation for the stay!!!!
