3 Best Hotels in Mobile, AL

I was highly pleased with my stay. Arnetta, the assistant manager treated me like a relative from the moment I entered the front door. She provided pertinent information concerning my stay. She also provided an extensive history of the hotel, and the city of Mobile. I also met the owner. He was very personable, and treated me as if I were a guest in his own home. I enjoyed king sized room. It was very spacious. It included the necessary amenities from the bathroom toiletries to the coffee/coffee maker. Full list of Cable Television as well. Overall, this was a great value for the price. I felt it was a steal for all that came with it. If you’re looking for a unique gem within walking distance of all the downtown action, look no further. I know where I’m staying the next time I’m back in Mobile.

Absolutely love this place. This was my third time staying here, and it doesn’t disappoint. This time I stayed with friends for a birthday trip. We arrived around 1am, and Ms Kathy at the front desk upgraded us to a suite. We loved it! The gentleman at the desk the next morning even gave us a tour. Love the history and charm of this place. We will be back.

I loved staying here. Such a beautiful, historic hotel. And Ms. Charlotte, who checked me on, was very sweet and helpful. One thing I appreciated was that even though the hotel is old, it’s very well kept. And the shower/bathroom was beautiful and more updated. The bed was really comfortable, too. I can’t wait to stay here again.

This hotel is a fabulous Hotel. In every way it exceeds expectations. From the minute you walk in the smell in the lobby is very nice and refreshing. My family and I were traveling cross country and we stopped here on our first night. We had not planned properly and walked in without a reservation. We had not thought out a route properly and it was difficult because we're traveling with children. The biggest star at this hotel is its manager Adrian and some of the front desk and cleaning staff. We walked in and they helped us in so many ways, I'm not going to get into all the details. Suffice it to say that Adrian is a kind considerate and caring person and we were so grateful that he was working when we arrived. We need more Adrians in the world.

We had a great stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Mobile, AL! The staff was incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived — special shout out to Tay, Tatum, Jake, Gloria, and most of all, Adrian for making us feel so welcome. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Great, clean rooms. Good options for hot breakfast. Jimmy John’s on site for a quick bite and Amazon locker if you forgot anything you can’t get in their store etc. We had a great stay.
