Courtyard Akron Downtown

We stayed the for the first time while dropping our daughter of at college and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect and the staff outstanding. Front desk employees were friendly and helpful Chef and Rhonda at the cafe in the morning were extremely friendly and accommodating. We then had to return a month later due to a medical emergency and once again fantastic crew that helped us in all ways possible. Chef remembered us and once again made us feel right at home. We look forward to seeing him on each of our visits.

The room was nice & clean. The decor was nice and I loved the roomy shower. The shower also had the attenuator towards the end you enter on instead of at the head so I totally enjoyed that! My interactions with staff was next to none but the guy at check-in was beyond pleasant. The location was perfect for what we needed. Next door (or connected to the hotel) is a Speakeasy. It was so nice. The bar was packed but it was nice outside so we sat out there. A guy was performing on the Lanai. He was good. The whole vibe was cool.

Came from out of town to stay for a few days in Ohio...the location was perfect for me and what I needed to do. It was parking every night where I didn't have to pay. I was solo on this trip and I felt safe in this location as well. The front desk was nice, easy check in/out, and helpful!
