Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria Old Town

Firstly, I was very impressed by the breakfast. I didn’t expect it to be that good since it’s free. The ladies making the omelettes are wonderful. I loved that alternative milk was available to us, like almond milk. They even had hot chocolate. The parking garage was very confusing. The signs don’t even take you to the right places. And the parking spots are so tight. The room was spacious, however, we had problems with the safe. We set a code for it, but when we tried to open it back up we typed in the code and it said “error.” Then we were locked out of it for 15 minutes. We called the front desk and they said they would send somebody down. 20 minutes later, no one came to help…so we called again. They said that someone is coming right now. Within a minute, someone finally came to fix it. He opened it back up very fast.

We really enjoyed this hotel! From the texts before we arrived to the texts at the end of our stay, the hotel staff really cared! We loved the free breakfast and evening reception! The kids really enjoyed the pool and plethora of snacks! The hotel was beautiful and nestled in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, really great to walk around. Restaurants were very close by and the cafe at the hotel was very good - the hot honey salmon with purple mashed potatoes was excellent!

I travel here for work twice a month and love it! The staff is very friendly. Aiden and the crew during complimentary hour are amazing. Maria at the breakfast is incredible. I cannot say enough good things about the staff.
