Chef Tim and Nancy Cushman are constantly amazed by Japan's warm hospitality and the incredible freshness, quality, and variety of its food and sake. The intimate 37-seat dining room consists of ten tables and a 17-seat chef's counter, where guests can watch the chefs preparing the recipes. Their Chef's tasting menu includes an extensive a la carte menu of creative nigiri, sashimi, vegetable, wagyu beef, pork, and chicken dishes. Reservations are required and can be made up to 30 days in advance through Tock, a prepaid ticketed reservation platform.

This place has some of the best fried chicken you're ever going to have in your life. We went a little crazy in order a ton of room service, which I would highly recommend if you're staying at that hotel. The way, and we didn't expect the fried Chicken to floor us as much as it did. Consider us floored. Like glued to the floor. Like if you go to room 132 you'll see us still glued to the floor from the fried chicken. We're actually still there. Someone send help.

Our meal there was fantastic! Our server JJ was so amazing she was so sweet and gave great recommendations for food I had the spicy salmon roll it was quite good! The atmosphere is very nice and fun food came out pretty quick and well prepared! I would definitely recommend you go to Hojoko it was great.

The 20-course omakase menu is meticulously crafted, with each dish showcasing an incredible depth of flavor and precision. The A5 Japanese Wagyu was absolutely phenomenal—melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Every course was a delight, and the meal concluded with a thoughtful selection of sweets that provided the perfect finishing touch. This is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had—worthy of Michelin recognition. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an unforgettable sushi and omakase experience!.

Quick, Delicious, and Totally Worth It! If you are craving a seriously satisfying bowl of ramen, this place is an absolute must-visit. The flavors here are delicious and spot-on, making it easily one of the best spots in town for a quick comfort food fix. Busy vibes, lightning-fast service, and downright delicious ramen. Whether you're in a rush or just super hungry, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delicious ramen! And so much food. We got the combo deal. And the regular sized bowl. The service was great. Good came out fast and hot! We will definitely be back.

We went on a freezing cold evening and even waited about 10 minutes outside in the cold — but it was absolutely worth it. We’ve been going to a Hokkaido ramen spot in the Bay Area for over 25 years, and it’s long been our favorite. This Back Bay location did not disappoint. After coming from 70-degree California weather, the bowl of ramen gave me the warmth I desperately needed. Everything on the menu looked great, and we ended up ordering two combos.
