UNION OYSTER HOUSE REVIEWS

We didn’t have reservations and had to wait a little over a hour. But the bar was fun with strong drinks. Of course the oysters and clam chowder were amazing. The mussels and the scallops were above average. The best was the Lazy Man’s Lobster—so rich and delicious. Great atmosphere in a historic area.

It’s nice to try different places once in a while, But this historic restaurant did not disappoint. It has all the Bostonian classics when it comes to food. Can’t wait to come back to try something new. The food and cocktails drinks were great! You won’t regret it.

Best fresh shucked oysters in Boston. The history and location only add to the splendor. I fly to Boston 2x a year just to go here- then visit 2x a day. Love love love.

LEGAL SEA FOODS-LONG WHARF REVIEWS

Highly recommend this place, prepare yourself to wait if you’re dining for dinner. But let me tell you the hostess staff is so kind and sweet, they will do their best to accommodate and can even make recommendations while you wait. We were blessed to meet Ray & Kris upon our arrival and even though they were slammed busy at the hostess desk they managed it with grace and kindness. We are from Texas and asked for some recommendation while we reviewed the menu as we waited. They even checked on us after dinner to see if we like the recommendations- just darling ladies. Food was absolutely worth to the wait- service was fast, food was fresh and hot! Our server Vlada was also friendly and on it with our order and fast delivery. Thank you kitchen staff for whipping the food out perfectly and fast.

I really enjoyed legal Sea Foods - Long wharf. We stopped here for some dinner after riding the ferry. It was fantastic. The daily fish, the clam chowder and the lobster bisque were all great. We also got the fisherman's platter to share. The variety was a good taste of a couple different seafood others items.

We had a reservation but it wasn't very busy so I'm not sure we needed one. I love clam chowder and it's pretty good here. I had surf and turf and the steak and lobster were cooked perfectly. My husband had the crab cake appetizer and fish and chips for his meal. All the food was very good and our server was excellent.

The oysters were really good. The lobster bisque was a little blend whereas the clam chowder was a little strong for our taste. Likewise the lobster carbonara though there was plenty of lobster meat. The service was very good. Definitely worth a visit.

No doubt the best clam chowder in Boston. I’ll be back time and time again to eat it. The beet salad is large and perfectly balanced with a big hunk of fried goat cheese. The bread basket is very generous and actually great bread. 10/10 all around.

Food was exceptional, highly recommend the lobster, great old fashioned. Tony our server made sure everything was perfect. We had a great dining experience.
