AKEBONO 515 REVIEWS

What a special gem! Clean and modern hip atmosphere. Great music and amazing food. We got the crab puffs, maki rolls, miso soup, and ginger salad! 12/10 on every single one! Light and fresh and large maki rolls make it worth the slightly higher price. The crab puffs are similar to crab Rangoon but with much less fried breading—highly recommend. Also amazing attentive service—quick to seat us, take our orders, and bring out our food! Thank you for the amazing experience.

Went for my birthday the last weekend in October. Lemon drop martinis were DANGEROUSLY delicious. Could've drank way more than I did. Staff was friendly and dressed in costume to add some fun to the atmosphere. I got the Spooky Roll (specialty of the week I think) and it was AMAZING. The other rolls we had were delicious as well. Will for sure be back.

Great little gem we found here! Great service! Salad and soup were amazing and so fresh. Can't wait to try the sushi roll we have ordered. The "Nacho roll" . This is my new go-to for sushi. Yay.

HANA RAMEN SUSHI REVIEWS

I loved the atmosphere, is very busy but they call you which allows you to walk the strip mall, it sit in the comfort of you car. Service is good considering how busy they. The food is spot on! The presentation, the quality... They have it all. It was so delicious, we had multiple items and they all were delicious. Great place, you should take the time to visit. Oh and the cheese cake is unbelievable! I world go there just for that.

One of the best tasting sushi places to go around the Des Moines Area. Their sushi had great proportions and amazing taste that will make you want to come back for more. I could do without the pineapple fried rice and the grilled teriyaki steak. Overall a great place to eat Sushi.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and would have gone for some ramen if it hadn't been so hot out. The sushi and spicy edamame were good and the service was great! We were glad they had a dedicated gluten free menu and gluten free soy sauce.

W-TAO SUSHI REVIEWS

The restaurant is more spacious than I would have thought. We had a large party and were sat by the entrance which got cold when people forgot to close the door. With that being said, it did not hinder our dining experience. The food was magnificent and the cocktails were superb. Presentation was top! The space is beautiful inside and had kind of a sexy vibe. The servers were extremely attentive and we all left satisfied. Our cups and our bellies were full. Great place.

Ordered via Doordash and was so very impressed with the food!! Recently move to the DSM area from Atlanta and was recommended to try out W-Tao. Highly recommend for visitors and locals to try this place out! Really enjoyed the Maki Combo B and spicy edamame.

We love going to W-Tao Sushi. The seaweed salad is a favourite starter, accompanied by miso or egg-drop soup. The sushi is delicious and we have at times shared a couple of the hot noodle dishes. A definite favourite. The staff are lovely too.
