We had a great experience here! Was shocked about the flavors of our meal! Absolutely OUTSTANDING! Our waiter was very knowledgeable as well for us being rookies with the menu! Oh! And the pineapple Saki, excellent.

Had the Happy Ending roll and the Volcano roll, best rolls in Des Moines in my opinion! Jake and Spencer were great behind the bar! We’ll definitely be back.

Chill atmosphere great for a fun night with friends. Sat at the bar and had great service! Both the Spider roll and Yellowfin roll were delicious.

The daiquiri and shrimp tempura were delicious. Our server was very friendly and checked in on us frequently. The food quality is amazing, and how cheap the prices are surprised me. Best sushi place in Iowa by far.20/10.

It was a ten out of ten for me! I had quite a few dishes for a great price at happy hour and Abby (I'm sorry if I got your name wrong) was absolutely wonderful. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

One of the better sushi places in Iowa. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious. I had the miso soup and blue kani. Definitely worth to come during happy hour.

SAMURAI SUSHI & HIBACHI REVIEWS

Samurai Sushi and Hibachi is a delightful restaurant located between Costco and the mall. It is a very welcoming family-friendly environment that was quite busy on the Friday I went there. The sushi and Maki that I ordered arrived very quickly and were presented beautifully. In addition to its presentation, I can confidently share that the food was absolutely delicious. If you are looking for Japanese hibachi and/or sushi in this area, I recommend samurai sushi and hibachi is the place to go.

Wife and I enjoyed the Hibachi for dinner. We ordered the NY Strip Steak and Chicken dishes (We were able to get these gluten free). The portions were perfect size and the chef was great. Absolutely 0 complaints and would come back again next time we're in town.

I have been coming here for over 10 years. Last night was a party for my gfs birthday. Which ultimately turned into a proposal. The server knew the job, service was on point, food was even better, and I can’t begin to say how welcoming they made my family and friends feel welcomed.
