Alex The cook who came to our table was amazing. He had all the right tricks with his life showing off cooking the best food. We recommend him to get a raise. The server was good too. She worked with us being difficult lol definitely will come back the reason why we put four stars instead of five is because that atmosphere it was cold. The air was blowing right on us. That was a bad part about it. Other than that it was amazing.

The food was amazing! We went for resturaunt week and their selected menu was perfect for the two of us to enjoy. We typically do Saga in Monroeville but this was a nice change of pace and a good amount of food for the price.

Nate was an incredible cook! Catered to us nicely and wished a happy birthday. Cooked the steak perfectly and remembered our orders.

RAMEN BAR REVIEWS

The service here really stood out! I asked for a table for 6 on a night when they were packed and 2 extra friends showed up. The staff noticed that, didn't complain, and brought 2 extra chairs to squeeze them in without me even having to ask. The food was great too! I would highly recommend.

We loved this place. Food across the board was yum! Great portions, too! The service was awesome. Got seated right away by the owner and our server, Jeff made our first experience at the Ramen Bar an enjoyable one! We'll be back.

Pork Ramen & Fried Rice was really good. Good portions and pretty good prices. You might have to wait though, especially on a Friday night, as it gets very busy bc of its proximity near college campuses.

UMAMI REVIEWS

Umami is a vibe! The artwork, music, and service come together to create an incredible atmosphere. I’ve been there twice for dinner and absolutely loved the takoyaki (fried octopus balls, they were perfectly cooked. The gyudon (beef rice bowl) was just okay, but the rayu cucumbers were delightful and had the perfect crunch! It’s a great spot for a date night, especially with their shareable plates. You should definitely make a reservation before going.

Love this place. Such a great spot. Very small and only a couple tables I recommend making a reservation. They have a cool room with two tables sunk down into the ground so you sit in like a hole. If you go here in the summer it is super hot inside. The food is good and very authentic. Pairs great with some sake.

Great, little spot for dinner. It is a small, crowded restaurant but the food was delicious and decently priced for what we had. You definitely need to have a reservation to get in, but everything was worth it.
