MONTEREY BAY FISH GROTTO REVIEWS

Words can’t easily describe how absolutely amazing this restaurant was. The carrot appetizer was amazing, and the desserts were to die for. The steak was cooked perfectly and the fish dish I got was very good. It’s going to cost you, but obviously the experience is worth it. You will certainly need to put in reservations. If you want a window seat, you can always tell from the pictures. We were a little further away because I booked the reservation the day of. Regardless, make sure you plan a trip around going down the hill trolley either before or after to see the entirety of Pittsburgh in all of its grander from on top of the hill.

Had a great last night in Pittsburgh. Dinner was delicious. The sunset was beautiful to watch from so far up. The Halibut Special was cooked perfectly. The lady-crab bisque was phenomenal. We wanted to order everything on the menu to try it.

We held our wedding ceremony dinner here last week and it was just perfect! Loved having an intimate dinner for our closest people. The incline room behind the bar was fabulous for a group of 30. The staff was attentive and kind. We all had a lovely time.

Absolutely the best vibe in town. Bartenders are super friendly all the time. Make you feel Right at home . Beautiful TONYA is the absolute best! I come there just for her! John is fabulous as well! again makes you feel right at home. Thank you Roland’s for being so awesome. Btw Get their peeled shrimp appetizer and French onion soup.

We stopped here for lunch on our anniversary this past weekend. We were seated right away. Our waitress was truly the sweetest, and the best one we have ever had. I wish I could remember her name. We both got the lobster roll and my husband also got the Maryland spicy crab chowder. Food was excellent and prices were reasonable.

The sunday afternoon crowd was jumping, and we had the lobster nachos, which were very tasty. Cold drinks and food were perfect after walking the strip.

Best seafood in Western PA! Luke and his team take total pride in delivering the best "Wild Caught" fish from the top sources. Then, as if getting the best ingredients wasn't enough, each dish on the menu is thoughtfully crafted and a "10" on every level. The bartenders and wait staff are always friendly, helpful and accommodating. Whether you like a little bar banter or just great service, Luke Wholey's delivers! The food may be suited for white tablecloths and fancy wine, but the atmosphere is a very comfortable and unassuming. It's a casual place with upscale cuisine.

It was amazing like I felt swept away in a culinary seafood delight. The customer service was excellent the food has me wanting to go back again an again . It will be a regular place to dine for me whenever I choose to dine out all I can say is it's time to open another location.

Several people in the area recommended this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Service was wonderful - Mike recommended I try three different types of oysters, which were amazing, and the bartender recommended the crabcake, which was delicious, and the Baja taco, which was full of flavor. Paired with a sauvignon blanc it was an amazing lunch. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in town.
