It was our first visit to the Frick and we enjoyed it, I can't believe how much of it is free to access! We went to see the 4 folios of Shakespeare's plays, which was pretty neat, and stayed to see the permanent collection and walk the grounds. We'll definitely be back to tour the house another day.
The Frick's special exhibits are always worth the trip. Reckoning, The Red Dress, and Pittsburgh and The Great Migration - all thought provoking and inspiring. You can have lunch at the cafe but space is limited.
This is Pittsburgh history. The museum, the grounds, cafe and atmosphere are just breathtaking. And if you want to experience Frick park, you can walk to it from here. Highly recommend if you visit Pittsburgh.
