3 Best Massage Therapy in Oakland, CA

This is by far the best massage studio I've been to! The prices are very reasonable and every massage therapist I've gotten when I go here has been wonderful! I have two very minor gripes with this place, the first being that the AC is pretty loud when it kicks in, and the second being that they don't do insurance so if you want to claim your massages then I don't know if you can do it here. But these are minor and do not discourage me from going here at all.

I went for TMJ relief and I got that and so much more! Kiara is an incredible practitioner. She takes a holistic approach to support your body’s stress and addresses the interconnected and underlying issues that can impact the clenching, knots, and headaches that come from TMJ. She identified areas where I was holding stress and tension, and targeted them with the perfect amount of pressure. She has a unique approach to body work and tailors each session to where your body is at on that day. Kiara also takes the time to talk to you about your concerns, and she walked me through the process of receiving the TMJ massage (which was new to me). She also taught me techniques I can replicate at home to alleviate my pain and promote relaxation. Overall, she is a great healer, educator, and body work practitioner. Plus she’s positive and sweet! I have had a lot of massages with some incredible practitioners, but Kiara’s work stands out to me for her overall whole body approach, and her ability to relieve my TMJ. She knows her stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I had a massage with Kiara and it was AMAZING. I have chronic pain in my lower back and I have to say this is the first massage I've ever felt where I experienced more long term benefits past the initial appointment date. She used a variety of techniques to provide great service, I will definitely be booking with her again! I also booked Juan Carlos for my partner, and he said that the massage was really great and provided him with a lot of relief as a runner and climber that often experiences a lot of stress in the legs and arms after working out. Would book again!.

Kiara's touch feels super intentional. I went for TMJ relief thinking it would just be an intraoral massage but it turned out to be so much more. Kiara worked through all the tight areas in my neck, traps, pecs, arms and even hips - sharing how all these muscles are connected. She was responsive, calm and communicative throughout. I'd definitely come back! If it's your first time, I'd recommend a longer session.
