Dr. Plaff, Dr. Grange, and all of the staff at OakVet are absolutely amazing. I brought my cat Grover in after he suddenly started showing concerning symptoms, and from the moment we arrived, the triage staff and team were patient, kind, and incredibly reassuring during an extremely stressful time. Initially, there was no clear explanation for Grover's symptoms, but Dr. Plaff and her team methodically walked through all possible causes — running blood work, then moving to X-rays, which showed a clear abnormality in his small intestine. Though the on-call ultrasound specialist wasn't available, Dr. Plaff explained everything clearly and compassionately, and said that based on what she saw, she would move forward with emergency surgery if it were her own cat. She even took the time to show us the X-ray and compare it to a healthy one — at 10PM! Her clarity, empathy, and bedside manner made all the difference when we were overwhelmed and scared. At 5AM, we got a call from Dr. Grange (the surgeon) confirming that Dr. Plaff was exactly right — Grover had swallowed a string, which was causing his intestine to bunch up. The surgery went perfectly, and Grover is now recovering well. Throughout the entire process, every person we spoke with at OakVet was kind, responsive, and happy to answer any question I had, no matter how small. I'm so incredibly thankful to have a hospital like this nearby. Their care, professionalism, and compassion meant the world during one of the scariest nights of my life. I couldn't recommend them more.

OakVet went above and beyond to help my little girl in her diagnosis. Upon arriving I did have a minor wait(totally understandable as they were emergencies so I didn't mind). Dr. Li was very comforting and open about what she found in Tiger Lily and what the possibilities were. Dr. Funes was amazing and I appreciate everything she did to try and save my little girl. Unfortunately she had cancer that had spread too fast but the amount of love and care that my Lily received definitely made her time there more comfortable. The whole vibe and everyone at OakVet that I encountered was amazing and I'm forever grateful for everything they did.

i came in and had to put my cat, callie, down. it was a peaceful process. they leave a button for you to press once you’re ready to say goodbye and for after the procedure. the doctor was so understanding, i was so distraught i forget her name. they also sent a very nice card. it was a wonderful experience that i am forever grateful for, thank you!.

I had a pretty decent experience at this place. I had to wait a few minutes when I arrived from my appointment time but that was expected and normal. The veterinarian was very kind and didn't do anything without consent which I very much appreciated. The only thing that could have been different is that it was recommended because my cat is now getting into senior territory that I should maybe get some blood work for her to test her kidneys and it was never given as an option during that appointment. I did get an email with the costs for dental work my cat needs which is a bit out of my budget and I'm going to have to save up for her but that's not necessarily a bad thing because it's just standard procedures and costs. I may have ordered the blood work at the session if I had been given the option however. Now I'm going to have to make another appointment which means I'm going to have to pay for an extra appointment to do that. I'm going to have to check my email to see if I have any estimates for that but I only seen previously the dental estimates. I would definitely take buckles back here again and I suppose I should have asked about doing the blood work right then so I don't blame the staff.

We took our pet here for the firs time, blue and the vet were extremely knowledgeable and offered several options for treatment. They were sympathetic and helpful in helping us understand the options for our pet. (Our pet has been difficult for other vets to deal with, we switched here with not much hope) however, glad they were able to provide care and at a reasonable price. They were transparent, honest and caring. We did a drop off and they communicated with us at every step of the way. Thank you so much for the excellent care!!!.

Excellent care of my pup. Good at keeping us informed throughout the procedures. A shout-out to Lee, at the front desk, who manages to be sweet and smiling while handling a bevy of clients and constant phone calls. Give her a raise!.
