I highly recommend Benjamin for guitar lessons, we are so happy about the progress our son has made in just a short period of time with him. Our son was previously taking lessons elsewhere for a year and had no idea what to practice or how to play anything on his own, not to mention he had developed a lot of bad habits in his technique because he had never been taught the importance of proper technique. As soon as he started with Benjamin it was like the way he taught made stuff click. Now our son practices regularly and is developing the core skills that will allow him to play any type of music in the future. Benjamin makes the lessons fun and interactive but makes sure the student learns about proper technique, the chords and in general how to play music. We cannot recommend him enough. We're so glad we found Ben's lesson program! We had been searching for lessons for quite a while and thankfully came across his website. He's wonderful with our 8 year old and consistently implements wonderful teaching techniques. His instruction style wonderfully balances challenging students to grow and being accountable for their part in learning while also being very encouraging and celebrating their accomplishments.

Ben has worked with my two boys for several years now. There has been tremendous growth in their musical ability with his instruction. He provides a strong base in music theory, and instructs them in several different types of music to provide a well rounded musical education. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to become a musician.
