Dr. Aashish Jay Kumar is an excellent physician. He is very thorough in explaining every procedure that will be going on with the expectations. He is very kind and the best of any doctor that has ever treated me for my back issues. He tells you as he is about to do each step and is extremely gentle as well as patient. The staff in his facilities procedure room was exceptional. They took every detail to make me the patient comfortable even down to the music that was played. Dr. Kumar is hands down the best in the business. If you are in pain he’s your man to help you. Please search Dr. Kurmar before having another back surgery there are other options! I have nothing but good things and a good experience with him even though I’m a very nervous type person he’s very calming. A++.

Dr. Goldberger is everything you need in a pain management physician: compassionate, kind, experienced, and intelligent. I have been seeing him for 2 1/2 years, during which time he has helped manage my chronic neck and shoulder pain, before and after spine surgery. One time I came in with excruciating pain in the back of my skull. He said, I am going to have you smiling before you leave here. And he did. He gave me an occipital nerve block and the pain left as he pushed the needles in. Most recently, I came in exhausted and worn down from gnawing, throbbing pain between my neck and shoulder. Dr. Goldberger offered a trigger point injection. He knew just where the pain was coming from. The injection gave me much needed relief and I could finally rest. If you need pain management, Dr. Goldberger is the best.

I was referred to Dr. Goldberger by my spine specialist after a very long 9 level fusion, from my S1 to T10, and my pain was extreme and unrelenting. I have been very impressed with how well Dr. Goldberger actually listens and his suggestions for diagnostic procedures to ascertain the cause of pain instead of just doing a shotgun approach to treatment. In order to get appropriate treatment in this day and age, you must be prepared to count your prescriptions at each appointment and for random drug testing to insure you are not abusing your meds or using any form of inappropriate drugs - as it should be! It is absolutely a patient's responsibility to do everything in their power to help control their pain, and if you are willing to do that, you will be well served by Carolina Bone & Joint and Dr. Goldberger. I have been able to get an appointment within 24 hours, the treatments are fairly priced, and their billing is responsive. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes to see a provider and they are usually right on time.

I visited two other pain management doctors in Charlotte before going to Dr Goldberger who was the only one that diagnosed my pain issues properly as well as treating them the right way. His PA Mary is the BEST!!Won`t go anywhere else and HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you don`t either.
