AMY E. SMITH, PT, DPT, CSCS, RYT - ROOTS PHYSICAL THERAPY + YOGA, LLC REVIEWS
I love Roots PT! From working with Amy on both acute and maintenance PT issues, to amazing massage therapy with Danielle, to yoga with Julie... I'm so so happy I found this wonderful gem. Clean, beautiful, professional, warm and welcoming, Roots is unlike anywhere else I've ever been. I'm particularly grateful for the PT approach, which is unlike most other places: a PT appointment means 1:1 attention for the full hour and I walk out feeling better AND with a reasonable and manageable list of exercises to do @ home. Thank you, Amy, for being you and building such a wonderful destination for strength-building and self-care.
Amy is not only a beautiful human but her work is what you want out of medicine. It is holistic, it is educational and empowering. Her goal is to use different modalities to get to the root cause of the pain. She educates and empowers you along the way to eventually do it on your own. I have recommended Amy to others. More people should take advantage of cash based medical services because the clinicians are truly in your court vs thinking about insurance reimbursement.
Started with yoga classes which are small so teachers can work with your needs. Needed Physical Therapy recently for back issues. Amy did evaluation and recommended Jackie. Both great to work with. I’m already feeling better. Highly recommend Roots!

EVA GOODYEAR, PT, DPT - BAY STATE PHYSICAL THERAPY PROVIDENCE REVIEWS
How do you adequately thank folks for giving you your mobility and life back? When I first started with Bay State, I couldn’t perform basic daily life activities without being in so much pain that I could cry. With Eva’s help and thoughtful approach, we pinpointed the issues and she helped me restore my mobility to the point where I am not almost pain free. Even my ortho didn’t accurately pinpoint my issues, but Eva did. She and Tenia were encouraging, motivating, and kept my spirits up even when my original diagnosis seemed pretty grim for someone in their 30s. I can’t say enough nice things about Eva, Tenia, and Shai—this whole office truly cares about their patients and makes you feel at home. If I ever need therapy in the future, I will absolutely be back. I can’t recommend them enough!
I am very happy that I went to Bay State for my physical therapy. I worked with Eva, and she gave me targeted exercises for my injury at an intensity that I could manage. The entire experience was positive, and the environment is very upbeat and encouraging. I highly recommend them!
Eva and Tania are both amazing at what they do and they have the best staff !!
