3 Best Preschools in Sterling Heights, MI

We enrolled our son here while we awaited placement at my work’s daycare, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. Our son loved his teachers in the infant room (Miss Kristen, Miss Elexis, and Miss Heather), as well as any staff who came in to help with breaks or play with the babies. He smiled when I passed him to his teachers each morning, and he often ignored me for a couple minutes when I arrived in the afternoon to pick him up because he loved watching/playing with them! The administration was always very helpful (Nancy and Kelly, as well as Stephanie during the admission process), and every employee we came across was kind and welcoming. If we didn’t have daycare through my work, my husband and I would keep our son here forever.

Send your child here! Being new to Sterling Heights when my child was just 2 years old, I was lost on where to even start looking for childcare. Sterling Heights Kindercare is amazing. My son loves the entire staff, from the teachers to the directors to the cook to the maintenance man. My son has various individual needs, mostly due to health and development, and not only do they address and accommodate those with integrity, but they also push him to work to his potential as they venture into their daily curriculum, which is very hands-on and interactive. The staff communicates so well and are always available to listen and build relationships with the kids and parents. My son is starting Kindergarten in the fall, and I'm not sure how we are going to move forward without them <3.

I can’t say enough great things about KinderCare! They have the best staff that truly love our child like he is one of their own! Miss Stephanie and Miss Nancy are so flexible in working with our schedules. The Teachers spend so much time prepping lessons and are great at communicating any improvement/suggestions we can do in helping our child grow!

Fabulous! We love Merry Mill! Both my girls and my nephew went here. If you want a nourishing, caring, and learning environment this is the place. Accredited teachers at all levels my children were ahead if the class going into kindergarten. Most important they foster family, growth and individuality. I knew my children were loved and cared for like they were their own. When you walk in there is a sense of family. A time or two I wished I could smuggle one of the teachers home my girls loved them so much. The curriculum is progressive and empowering for all ages.

My daughter has been going here for 3 years and is about to “graduate” and move on to kindergarten. I am so beyond greatful for the teachers and staff at Merry Mill for not only teaching my daughter but loving her. I could write a whole novel on everything favorable. There is nothing better than knowing your child is safe and happy while you’re away! When we switch over to kindergarten in the fall we will be keeping MM as backup for holiday breaks and whatnot. I would absolutely recommend this school/daycare to anyone looking. The prices aren’t bad either

Merry Mills is above and beyond everything I expected from a daycare provider. They treat my 3 year old daughter so well and she is always happy and smiling when I come to pick her up. They teach all of the preschool basics and I can tell that my daughter is learning new things every day. The teachers are amazing, kind, nurturing and supportive. The front office staff go out of their way to help and are flexible and fair.
