10/10 would recommend. Kyle is a straight shooter. I was impressed with his breadth and depth of knowledge. Everything from minor code minutiae to landscaping and water drainage concerns to electrical and plumbing were covered and identified in the report, and arrows were helpfully added to images where the issue being commented on might not be immediately apparent to the layperson. The review got down into the technical requirements of stair risers and mistakes that the contractors that built the house made, the why for both what they did and why the standard was what it was for the stair risers, and what could be done about it. Along with this ability to identify what was wrong, his outlines of the potential short or longterm consequences of said flaws or failures to meet code were both comprehensive and insightful. All of my questions were answered and then some.

He walked us through all the big and small things he noticed, both pointing them out in person and showing us the photos he had taken to put in the report. He’s a very down-to-earth person; he is very up-to-date on the current codes while providing several different options (for different price points) to bring each defect up to code. We received the report within 12 hours of our inspection start time, which was crucial to us being able to turn around our quick closing.
