What a wonderful company I happened upon. I was watching the quick and efficient dispatch of the across the street neighbors old/sick pine tree a couple months ago and saw the Heartwood Tree Company logo on one of the trucks. I called their office the next day, spoke with Ash who set me up with an appointment with co-owner/arborist Garrett the following week. I was given a very reasonable quote for removal of a large, beautiful crabapple tree that my folks had planted in the back yard 60+ years ago. I hated to see it go, but it didn't fit in my relandscaping plans. Garrett and his talented team of arborists took less than 3 hours to complete this removal process. Very little noise, put down mats to protect the lawn from the machinery tracks, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after the removal. Finally, Garrett showed me a large piece of the old, twisted trunk that he had saved. He knew that I was having a hard time dealing with the guilt of losing this still vibrant tree. It had such lovely pink flowers in the spring. Migrating cedar wax wings and northern robins would feast on the ripe berries in the fall, and we'd have families of flying squirrels live there in the winter. Anyhow, Garrett reminded me that Heartwood Projects could design and create a lovely live edge coffee table from the piece they had saved. A perfect way to repurpose an old friend and keep it in our lives. I can't say enough good things about Heartwood. Professionals who love their jobs and it really shows.

I cannot say enough positive things about Heartwood Tree Company. We have had them remove trees, remove stumps, treat trees, and plant trees. They are professional, highly skilled, careful to protect plants and structures and everything, easy to communicate with, reliable, and just super-nice people. We have used other tree services. None compare with Heartwood.

Garrett and crew did excellent work pruning our large locust tree. They were friendly, thorough, mindful, and left the yard clean of all debris. Heartwood worked around some unique scheduling and access challenges and got the job done right. I would recommend them to anyone and hope to use their services again.

Cody was so nice and friendly when he came to quote us on the work they would do on our yard. He made sure to listen to what we wanted done, but also made sure to preserve the healthy parts of the trees. His crew did an amazing job when they came to do the job and did a great job cleaning up our yard when they were done. They were also much more reasonably priced than other companys we looked in to. Would highly recommend.
