BUTLER METRO PARK REVIEWS
My first time at this park today and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. I live in Lubbock where there are almost no decent trails to ride a bike or jog on, and the set up in downtown Austin is just beautiful and amazing. The only real downside to it is because it’s so nice. There are tons of people here and riding a mountain bike on the trail is a little bit challenging just watching out for pedestrian traffic but as long as you don’t ride like a jerk it’s not so bad
What a wonderful place to bring your child. This is such a lovely playground with a gigantic climbing structure, slides, blocks to climb and a hobbit like area filled with tunnels and mounds for your kids to run through. My son has a blast.
There are so many facilities for kids to play. And there are two table tennis table that you cn play pingpang with your friends. There are a very busy place. You'd better park near Starbucks. It is free on Sunday.

MUELLER LAKE PARK REVIEWS
Great place to jog, walk dogs, or bring kids. A paved trail wraps around the "lake," and there's a nice playground. The park also hosts lots of community events, and there are several restaurants, retail shops, the children's museum, and other businesses nearby.
This park is always well maintained and full of life. It's a great place to visit with the family or alone. I love to bring my dogs here for their walks. The area is not only beautiful but also has all the amenities you might need. The farmers market on the weekend is a must-see if you can.

EMMA LONG METROPOLITAN PARK REVIEWS
If you can make it by on a week day I recommend doing this for the solitude. It was very quiet, serene, and relaxing for my family to come on a week day after school is back in session. Well maintained space with plenty of shade, adequate restrooms + showers. Bring a picnic. No glass, of course. And make sure your pups are leashed and don't get into the swimming area.
So one of the best kept secrets of Austin off City Park. The atmosphere is quiet and the park is good for walking. I love it because it's secluded and not many people frequent it during the week. Good place for a swim also. Summer on a weekend it gets busy.
Love how this place has a small area sectioned off for swimming. The wake from the boats makes it like a natural wave pool. Lots of parking when its not busy. Enough trails to come back more than once. I look forward to returning to camp. Two boat ramps. Boat traffic might make the waters a bit choppy for beginners in kayaking or paddle boarding.
