The museum receives more than 9 million visitors from around the world. The museum has hundreds of artifacts, history, and innovative technologies unveiled in exhibits, films, symposia, community activities, and friendly family-centered programs for all ages. Bullock Texas State History Museum shows more than 16,000 years of Texas history, starting with one of the earliest recorded human-made artifacts in the Americas. With 34,000 square feet of exhibit space, it honestly does tell The Story of Texas. The museum is designed as a non-collecting museum; each of the three floors is theme-based to accommodate over 700 artifacts, most of which rotate in and out from other museums. Guided tours are available for adult groups. The museum also offers a weekly field trip to the Bullock Museum for thousands of school children and teachers. "Austin Aquarium is one of the premier family entertainment centres in Austin. It provides lifetime experiences that include everything from sharks to Kangaroos. It has more than thousands of species, and there is also a wide variety of amphibians. The aquarium also features sharks, a stingray touch tank, a rain forest with hundreds of reptiles. It provides an opportunity for the children and families to experience the ocean's thrills and educational opportunities without having to travel to the coast. It is the only aquarium with jellyfish in the US where patrons can interact with and pet lemurs. Visitors can also see the jellyfish gently float in the tank. Austin Aquarium offers free admission for children ade three and under.

"Austin Zoo aims to assist animals in need through rehabilitation, rescue, and education. The Zoo has around 300 animals, which represent more than 100 different species. Austin Zoo is accredited by the Zoological Association of America. Unlike conventional zoos, each of its animal inhabitants has a unique story to share, reflecting its unwavering dedication to their welfare and rehabilitation. Visitors can enjoy the Picnic Grove surrounding the concession trailer and are welcome to bring in their food and drink. The Zoo provides one-week day camps during the summer tailored for children ages 5 to 12. This is a friendly zoo located at the edge of the Texas Hill Country, where visitors from all over the world can come to experience the animals up close, spend time outdoors getting exercise, and have fun. BULLOCK TEXAS STATE HISTORY MUSEUM REVIEWS

Fascinating Look into Texas History The Bullock Texas State History Museum is a great place to dive into the rich and diverse history of Texas. One of the highlights for me was the centerpiece of the museum—La Belle, the preserved hull of the French explorer La Salle’s ship. It’s impressive to see the actual shipwreck from 1686 along with thousands of recovered artifacts. The exhibits are well-curated, informative, and engaging for all ages. Definitely worth a visit if you’re interested in how Texas came to be. And if you tired there is a cafe on the 2nd floor with salads, sandwiches and drinks.

Wow what a great place to learn all about Texas and how it became the state it is today. There was so much I had zero knowledge of in the making of Texas. This place was beautiful and well put together. I loved that each floor took you through the history as you walked around. The Alamo film was so fascinating in showing us all that happened with Mexico in order to gain the land. Definitely a little in the spendy side to enter but well worth the money. There is a lot of reading to do so many not a place for small children.

We visited the Bullock Museum for the first Sunday in May which happened to be May 4th. They had a Star Wars Day. It was so much fun. From light saber battles to fun arts and crafts. It was a blast. If you haven't been. Come on the first Sunday of the month. They have free admission to check out the museum.

AUSTIN AQUARIUM REVIEWS

I cannot say enough awesome things about this place. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, helpful, and all-around fantastic. The critters are well-loved and you can tell. All precautions were adamantly maintained. We held lemurs y'all. Lemurs. Anytime I come back this will be on the visit list. Four hours felt like five minutes.

Ryan made our experience amazing at the aquarium today! He and Will gave us one on one attention with the animals and explained all the quirks, personalities and facts about every species. We had a surprising and excellent experience! I was refreshed by well trained, yet fun behaviour of all the animals. Our special favourites were Bonnie and Clyde. Thank you for making today memorable for my wife and me.

An awesome experience for our 5 & 7-year-old children. We loved the sharks and the friendliness of the exhibit attendants. A nice break in the pandemic monotony.

AUSTIN ZOO REVIEWS

We had an amazing time at the Austin zoo. The animals rescued here all have unique stories and the place has an old Austin vibe. We loved getting to see the lions up close and were impressed by the size of the zoo. A great cause and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

We are out of towners and not much to do at the resort where we were at for kids so we found this zoo and it was perfect a quick 2-hour visit plenty of snacks and drinks available and everybody was very friendly definitely got to try out the train ride.

Clean and tons of oak trees lining the paths for shade. 3rd time here, and we'll be back. Bring your lunch , there are multiple areas to enjoy it. Train ride is nice because you can see animals not on the walking paths and the cactus was in bloom.
