BULLOCK TEXAS STATE HISTORY MUSEUM REVIEWS
A great hands-on experience of Texas history! Lots of great displays and video, as well as interactive video games. The first time I attended was with a group of 80 or so students, which was probably too many for the space. This time I went with a group that was small enough we could read and discuss the information in the various exhibits. It was cool to see so many of the things we had read and studied about.
Lots of interesting exhibitions, well organized, really inspiring of Texas history and cowboys. I really enjoyed the short films of Texas history, such a beautiful and well made firm, the rattlesnake story was funny and the surprise part got me jump out of the chair! Amazing 3D technique and projector. love the storyline.
My best friend was visiting from NY and is a museum fan. She picked here and it was a great experience, definitely be prepared for a good 4+ hours stay if you plan to read in detail or want to really pay attention. There was plenty to do once inside such a movies and a cafe, but the museum alone was worth it.

AUSTIN ZOO REVIEWS
This has been one of the best sanctuary’s I’ve visited in Awhile. Our experience was amazing. We went on a cool Monday and most to all the animals we out for the public to see. All the big cats have Relatively large enclosures and all seem to be healthy. One of our favorite parts was when we got to see some of their caring staff members assist the zoos fox’s in painting with their little paws. The foxes were very excited and seemed to loved it. You and then purchase their artwork in the gift show. 10/10 experience. Will be back.
Had my daughters birthday here and it was worth every bit of the money! We rented the peacock pavilion, pre purchased feed bags for the kids to feed the livestock and opted to add on the "animal experience" where a staff member came over with a box turtle, a tarantula and a ball python to teach the kids about them. I recommend coming early when the feedings are going on as the animals are way more active and the temperature is nice. We love it!
I had a lot of fun here. There were lots of unique animals. A lot of them were tired from the summer heat but so were we. It's a fun place to walk around. We turned our backs to the white tiger and she jumped at us. It was startling but pretty cool at the same time. It may not be as paved and built up as zoos like the San Antonio and Houston Zoo but it's has it's own charm that I really enjoyed. It was amazing to be able to see a rescue zoo! We got to see many of the animals eating and relaxing, it was a really great experience. I would recommend to anyone who lives in the area.

ZILKER BOTANICAL GARDEN REVIEWS
It was a perfect day to walk around the Garden. I wished more plants were named but I particularly liked the prehistoric section and the Japanese and butterfly areas. The restrooms were small but decent and they had bags to pick up after your dog. They had a great play area for the children to have great adventures and there was even a mad hatter tea party going on that was adorable. There was a food truck that had d delightful menu of refreshing drinks but not much of a sitting area. Parking as good. All in all it was a lovely afternoon.
Absolutely beautiful! With Austin's gorgeous skyline in the background, this little gem of a botanical garden sits nestled quietly near the city. It's peaceful and easy to walk in silence and reflect. Perfect with a small group, your loved one or parents...the prehistoric area transports you to another realm. Highly recommend:) WAY worth the price of admissions!
Very close to downtown, a lot of green plants and flowers. The fishes in the small ponds were beautiful. The ancient Dianosours foot prints was remarkable. Easily you will spend 2 hours to half of a day. The 400 years old hut and the school is well preserved. There is a workshop with old machines. The small springs were major attractions.
