TYBER CREEK PUB REVIEWS

Tyber Creek was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed both the Saturday night and Sunday afternoon vibes, as different as they were. On Saturday night, Tyber Creek was a high-energy, great place to socialize, interact, and drink with others. On Sunday afternoon, it was a great place to relax a little bit, and watch some of the day’s sporting events while enjoying the weather. Overall, I loved the two (2) experiences I had at Tyber Creek, and I’d recommend it to anyone!

First things first, you can’t compare the new Tyber Creek Pub to the old Tyber Creek Pub. The old location had a history crafted over the decades. The new location will build on that history. It’s a wonderful pub with a great vibe. They pour a wonderful pint of Guinness and a really great staff working behind the bar. It’s worthy of carrying the name forward.

Great spot for afternoon drinks! Lots of outdoor seating. Perfect for fall weather. Service was super friendly!

My wife and I recently came to Charlotte's Midwood Plaza area to visit a good friend of ours, and having lived abroad decided to go to The Workman's Friend as it reminded us of our home away from home. The pub itself filled us with so much nostalgia, in our eyes looking like a fusion of some of favourite pubs back across the pond, and the atmosphere and friendliness created by the staff and other patrons did not disappoint. The food was amazing; I had The Working Man's Burger, and my wife the salmon charcuterie board- each tasted divine and suited our palette greatly. The drinks were of fair and reasonable price, too, and tasted amazing! For instance, a pint of Guinness is around $7, which from £-$ matches what we paid for our drinks across the way. We will happily make the 3 hour drive again just to come back to The Workman's Friend!

Great little gem with fantastic food! Our part of 6 had nothing but positive raves about the food! It's not often when our group goes out to a restaurant that 100% of everyone was thrilled. Kudos to the staff for great service and a quality dining experience!

Vegan wrap was legit. Waffle fries were great. Got a local beer and a black and tan. Bartenders were super nice despite having to deal with the annoying yuppies that were there. If you're in the area I highly recommend. Try and go before the white collars get off work.

Very accommodation. Super friendly service. Good food. All around great place to stop for a bite to eat and an adult beverage.

These guys are awesome! Great selection of beers served up by a great bunch of people.
