O'DONOVAN'S IRISH PUB REVIEWS

Awesome place... good local craft beer on tap (I had Summit's Winter Ale), the potato soup was amazing, and the corned beef and cabbage was also amazing. Good selection of beer & whiskey. I overheard the chef mention practically all of their dishes are from scratch, and it's easy to tell. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Minneapolis!

We popped in for a late night cocktail and beer on the patio while listening to a great Scottish musician. Such fun. The service was really good especially since it was pretty bustling. There was a Timberwolves game happening next door. I’ll go back and check out the food. The atmosphere was fun and energetic.

The facility has a cool history and unique architecture. I dropped in for lunch and a beverage. The shepherds pie was amazing and the service was excellent. Take some time to look around and read every in the walls. Great place to grab a quick meal and drinks.

We had a great experience at Kiernan’s Pub thanks to our server, Courtney. She greeted us quickly, checked in often, and gave helpful suggestions. She also nailed a special drink request exactly as described. Friendly, attentive service all around—will definitely be back!

Courteney was an excellent server. Fast friendly time efficient and frequently checked on us. First time here and was very impressed. Atmosphere was amazing. Will definetly come back here next time I visit the twin cities!

Very cute little Pub and good good. The whiskey selections and pricing are hard to beat.

MERLINS REST PUB REVIEWS

Had a great time here. The Highlander burger satisfied every craving I was having, the taste was great and it was very filling. The tots were nice and crispy. I got to introduce my friend to Scotch eggs which was fun and the ones here are pretty good. The cocktails are great too! The old fashioned was delicious as was the boozy hot cocoa! The service we got was quick and friendly! I'll definitely be back.

Used to have a wonderful atmosphere, but recently has become plastered in ugly political sloganeering. One can express politics tastefully in a restaurant; it would still be a bad thing to do, but one can do it tastefully. The way Merlin’s Rest has chosen to do it is garish. Service is good, and food is solid. Nice mixed beers.

We have been coming here before the arrows awards since 2009. It is always amazing. Best pub experience this side of the ocean.
