Taste of Texas restaurant

What an excellent experience. Shout out to PRESTON for superb service. He took my son to pick out his own steak and gave us a tour of the back of the house. The salad bar was the best I’ve had in a long while. The food was excellent. Not a bad word to say. It is worth a trip to Austin just to come here. Will definitely be coming back.

One of the best steakhouses in Houston. Outstanding salad bar. Large choice of premium quality meat. Outstanding service. This place is very busy, so it’s better to book a table in advance.

Went to this gorgeous restaurant full of Texas history for the first time with a friend last evening. Location was great, interior was warm, beautiful, luxurious and filled with culture. Our server. Meredith was exceptional. The salad bar and fresh warm breads were to die for and likewise the meal. The meat was juicy and moist. I got to go to the back to pick my meat. Restroom and surroundings were neat. They do have a store where you can purchase fresh meat, grilling butter, and some breads.
