Ryoko's Japanese Restaurant & Bar is a cherished family-owned establishment that has become a beloved post-clubbing destination in San Francisco. Reiko's mother launched Ryoko's, and Reiko is proud to operate the restaurant and persist in the family's legacy. RYOKO'S JAPANESE RESTAURANT & BAR REVIEWS
After trying most items on the menu, I can confidently say that the California roll is very fresh and delicious. The miso soup is also very tasty, and the consistency of the green tea and vegetable fried are my favorite. Additionally, the interior of the restaurant is very cozy.
My last dinner in SF before flying out tomorrow morning. We were looking for good food and decided on Ryoko’s after doing some searches. It was a good decision! Had the rainbow row and chicken karage and the amount was just right. Both dishes are excellent.
Loved my experience, definitely hope to be back! I know "sushi dive" may not appeal to everyone, but the food was amazing, service outstanding and I adore the atmosphere. Had the Tahoe roll with Asahi and edamame. Anywhere I can get tuna and Dr. Dre like that, I'm a big fan

OZUMO REVIEWS
I visited in the afternoon time and I like the bar side of the restaurant. It is cozy and quite compared to other side. Food is amazing and they could have done bit bitter on sushi dishes, but over all food is amazing. Best part is drinks. I just order one cook tail. It is so refreshing and I got buzz with only one drink. If I have to order other thing from this restaurant, it will be drinks.
I was invited to Ozumo but a friend, who is Japanese, and knows her Japanese food! So of course I took her lead to meet for Happy Hour! Oh yes! This place checked all the boxes for outstanding: Service, ambiance, menu, food, and most important that Geisha cocktail! Top HH spot!
One of my favorite Japanese spots. If you get a window table, you may have a close up view of the immensity of the bay bridge - pretty with lights at night. The sushi is excellent - varied, and of high quality. All the rolls I’ve tried have been good.

EBISU REVIEWS
Ebisu is a solid Japanese restaurant that serves all the classic dishes & sushi you’d expect. There’s something for everyone: sashimi, chirashi, nigiri, temaki, sushi rolls, udon, rice bowls, and a huge assortment of appetizers. There’s even a 10 piece omakase nigiri set if you want to try a bit of everything. It’s a family friendly spot but can also be a date spot.
Fantastic food, bar experience was the best choice. I’ve ordered nothing and let them impress me. And they did. Quality of the fish, freshness, amazing chefs. Price was fair. Line is long, no reservations allowed – so arrive early, have a beer and be patient. My favorite go to sushi experience in SF.
Fresh sashimi, soft rice, balanced flavors and textures. Eating at Ebisu is truly a delightful treat.
