FOG HARBOR FISH HOUSE REVIEWS

A San Francisco institution on Pier 39, Fog Harbor is a wonderful seafood restaurant. We began with a strong vodka martini and a delicious lemony mocktail. We proceed with a superb clam chowder and some of the best crab cakes anywhere, creamy and crispy. For entrees, we had a wonderful crab risotto with sautéed scallops which was outstanding. Also the mixed grill of cod, shrimp and salmon was done just right. We capped all with a celebratory dessert of warm cookie cake and ice cream (complimentary). We thoroughly enjoyed our delectable foods and the attentive service. Thank you.

The food was by far some of the best tasting seafood we have ever had. We were just saying we may fly in to San Francisco for a day just to experience this place again. The atmosphere was great and the service was top notch. Worth every penny.

The food here is top-notch! Jeremy, our server, was on top of everything. Our drinks never went below 1/2 full. Every person who brought out a menu item was very friendly. Jeremy was knowledgeable about many menu options. We also had a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge the sea lions.

The food was fantastic, and the service was prompt and attentive. Everything was simply phenomenal! This place holds a special place in my family’s history—my mom came here with my grandma in the ’80s, and my dad with his mom in the ‘70s. Now, it’s my turn to experience this gem. Take a look at the photos to see the amazing dishes we ordered—it was all absolutely delicious.

Such a lovely nostalgic place. They were able to seat us fairly quick without a reservation on a Saturday. While waiting we had a drink and sat by the fireplace inside which was cozy. The food and drinks were amazing and I would eat here everyday if I could. The cocktails were delicious and waiters and bartenders were great.

I went to Scoma's for a birthday dinner and the food, the staff and the atmosphere was great! The food was fresh and delicious! The wait staff was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with our large party. They helped with the birthday cake and served it which was a nice touch. Overall, I'd recommend them for a nice dinner/lunch or special occasion.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our Uber driver, and we couldn’t be more grateful! The view of the Bay Bridge is absolutely stunning, and the food is just exceptional. Every dish was fresh and flavorful, and the service was top-notch. A huge thanks to the driver for this amazing suggestion—we’ll definitely be back. My only wish is that their service to be a bit more chill and less intrusive. I know they are a busy restaurant and that their servers work hard. But I could feel that they were in a rush and sort of stressed out to do their job.

Very nice place with a great ambience. We had the lobster bisque and grilled octopus for starters and both were delicious. For the main we both chose the black cod which was an excellent dish. Service was excellent, the view is nice, a good night out.

Great drinks, bartenders were amazing! The views and atmosphere were top notch. We had scallops for an appetizer and the steak and lobster for entree. It all looked amazing.
