“Wayfare Tavern provides American food by chef Tyler Florence in a cozy setting that feels like a British pub. The restaurant offers a mix of classic comfort foods like fried chicken and mac and cheese, as well as more unique dishes like steak tartare and roasted bone marrow. The menu changes with the seasons, and they try to use local, sustainable ingredients. Their drinks menu includes local wines (some from Florence’s own label), draft beers, organic root beer, and old-fashioned cocktails. They have three private rooms for family dinners, weddings, and special events. The Sequoia Bar can host 18 to 50 guests, while the Billiards Room accommodates up to 14 guests. One room even has an antique tin ceiling, a red felt pool table that turns into a dining table, and glass doors. High chairs are available for kids.”
