We have only been going to Sylvan of Vandalia for around a month, maybe a little longer and have seen a tremendous boost in our son’s confidence, phonics skills, and fluency in reading. He is a second grader and has struggled with reading, he was in a reading program at his school last year. The difference our family has seen in him, in just a month has us jumping for joy. The staff is friendly and amazing to work with. Our son has made preferences to who he enjoys working with the most and also had verbalized troubles with being able to concentrate by other students that have to read out loud, with my WEEKLY check up calls (they always call me weekly just to see how Our son is feeling about everything and if there are any concerns) I have verbalized the things he says and they have done a wonderful job customizing his seating arrangement and instructors to allow for a better learning experience for him. We have been more than pleased with our experience with them. It is well worth the money to invest in our child’s future.

This is my son’s third year at Sylvan learning center. It is good strengthening for skills already acquired as well as creating new skills that the children will need to obtain for the upcoming year. They are very polite and professional. I love this place.

I highly recommend Huntington Learning Center. When COVID 19 caused the schools to close in March 2020, my two middle school children fell behind. Their end of year report cards reflected this. I reached out to Huntington Learning Center for tutoring in June 2020. My children started going to Huntington 4 days a week/3 hours a day. It is now December 2020 and my children are performing great in school. My daughter started High School this year & she made the honor roll for the first time. Huntington Learning Center's staff & teachers are amazing! Both of my children have more confidence in school and are more prepared for their continuing education journey.

Each summer, Washington-Centerville Public Library serves more than 5,000 families throughout our community with our summer reading programs. This past summer, we partnered with Huntington Learning Center. They created age-appropriate guides to assist parents in reinforcing good reading skills and habits for their children. The guides were a nice supplement to the existing summer reading program and were much appreciated by parents.

It’s a great place. It has helped improve our kids academic skills significantly in the first year of enrollment. A great investment for your kids.
