“Dr. Marcy Abel is board-certified by the American Board of Urology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She has completed her undergraduate training at Vanderbilt University and her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. Dr. Marcy Abel finished her internship in general surgery and residency in urology at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. She has served as the Chief of Urology at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital. Her practice includes general urology along with a specialization in female urologic problems. Dr. Marcy Abel is a leader in the community in vaginal reconstruction techniques, including robotic surgical repair of prolapse. She is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, American Medical Association, and Female Urology and International Society for Sexual Medicine.”
