10/10. Got admitted 291 Elm for Alcohol Detox. Made some amazing friends, the food was decent, and there was a ton of stuff to do to soak up the time while getting better. The Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Never thought I would be friends with a crackhead and heroin addict, but damn those are some of the realist people I ever met. After I got out, they set me up with a psychiatrist and a counselor, and its all been completely free thanks to NYS. I think I speak for everyone who needed a second chance when I say THANK YOU.

I asked to be in counseling/therapy. Everyone I have been in contact with has been nothing but supportive and beneficial to my personal growth. Jacquelyn silver I’m very happy to have at my side. I highly recommend if you want to make some changes in your life or need counseling.

Horizon has been there for me 100 percent. My therapist Gillian nigro is a heaven sent. Samantha Snell is as well. I don't know where I'd be without Gillian. She's the best.

In my opinion, CAO DART is by far the best MAT program in Western New York. The doctors are genuinely caring, and the main intake nurses are some of the most wonderful people with beautiful souls. Over the past five years, I've had two counselors, and they just so happen to be the best two I've had in my 17-year battle with addiction. The staff, in general, is incredibly kind and respectful—they don't treat you like a "junkie." Instead, they approach each patient on a case-by-case basis, which is a refreshing contrast to programs that enforce rigid, one-size-fits-all rules. I highly recommend CAO DART to anyone fighting addiction. Their compassionate care has truly made a difference in my life.

This place ia truly a wonderful establishment the staff are very concerned and they dont make you feel like your just a number to them. They take the time to get to know you a little bit and really detail a plan that will fit your schedule and help you change your life. They touch on every aspect of addiction that needs to be addressed beginging with controlling the withdrawal, cravings and acknowledging your addiction. Taking those first steps can be scary but at dart you are one of many dealing with the same disease. You are not alone and weather you talk to your counsoler , during a group , or to another patient you will find that it is a long road that and it is much better when you have support. With time it get easier once established you'll find the hardest part is done , adjusting and maintaining this change is worth every minute you now get back being sober and clean.

This is a methadone maintenance program I have not attended myself but I know people who go there and I don't hear alot of complaints.
