“2026 Update: The Arthur Roger Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in the Arts District of New Orleans. The art gallery features artists from around the world as well as premier local artists. The gallery originally opened in the city’s Garden District and attracted several of New Orleans’ most prominent artists. In 1988, the Arthur Roger Gallery moved to its current location, a carefully planned 5,100 square foot space designed by architect Wellington Reiter. In November 2008, Arthur Roger@434 was opened as a new additional gallery adjacent to 432 Julia. “2026 Update: Dutch Alley Artist's Co-op is a unique gallery showcasing art and crafts by a variety of regional artists who also work at the space. The art gallery was created by local artist Ric Rolston. The gallery is located just down from Cafe du Monde, where Decatur St. meets Dumain. With 25 local artists, they represent a fantastic array of original, high-quality art in several media, including ceramics and collage. The artists work in media such as printmaking, jewelry, mixed media, photography, and fiber, as well as other more unusual creations such as Mardi Gras coconuts and works with feathers and glitter.
