I really liked this little pub. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio has fans and misters to keep you cool and its nice and shaded. Their fish tacos are the perfect amount of spice and delicious! Loved their cracklins as well.

Always a great time at The Ave Pub! No matter how busy or crazy it is outside, the pub staff is always so professional, nice and welcoming. The gumbo was perfectly seasoned and exactly what was needed ob a parade day.

Great chill place to hang out. Not too big on the inside but big outdoor area and upstairs area also. All food is great and reasonably priced. Great beer selection. Easy to get to with the streetcar.

We took the ferry over to enjoy an English pub and a Guinness on draft. We enjoyed the local clientele, the dogs they brought, and the people-watching—definitely a more laid-back vibe than the French Quarter. Unisex bathroom up the stairs and into the abyss. Patio with lawn games. A friendly bartender who recommended the best Mexican food I had on our vacation.

What a lovely authentic English Pub. Atmosphere is striking. Guiness is on tap and very good. Full bar. If you head to Algiers Point, plan to have a cold one here.

Fun, authentic English pub, a short ferry ride across from New Orleans. The kind of place you’d like to settle in on a rainy day/night. Worth the trip.

Wonderful local Irish Pub! I have been here a few times with my friends to play darts and pool. The staff are so accommodating and nice, I asked them to turn down the music in the backroom and they did it so quickly! I was so grateful! The drink selection is wonderful and their beer and shot special is great! The out door seating is fantastic! The food is wonderful and is run by a dim sum third party restaurant. The service is fast and the food is delicious! Wonderful place to chill with friends!

Great little pub, even in this city that revolves around an alcoholics dream this place is great. Service is always A1 (see Ronnie!) And the locals that call this their home bar are very polite and welcoming to anyone with the mental capacity to incite conversation with strangers. Definitely had a good time here and I'll return periodically as schedule permits! Thanks again Holy Ground for giving of that great home away from home vibe!
