OLD SOUTHERN BBQ REVIEWS

This BBQ spot has become my go-to since my brother and I discovered it! I absolutely love their rib slab and brisket—both are packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The pickles on the side add a nice touch, but the real star for me is their mashed potatoes. They’re hands-down the best I’ve had in the Twin Cities, so good that I always upgrade to the biggest size! They also have a great variety of BBQ sauces right on the table, so you can mix and match to find the perfect flavor for your taste. The food here is consistently amazing, and it keeps me coming back. Highly recommend for any BBQ lover!

All I and say is AMAZING it's a fat kid problem as I call it it's soooooo good!!! Ribs have plenty of meat on them. The meat is tender and juicy and man full of flavor! U want a great BBQ place with great atmosphere THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! I'd give it more stars if I could!

Amazing BBQ! We got the 4 meat platter and everything was delicious. Brisket and Ribs were especially good. Mac & Cheese was also a highlight! Bartender Nick was attentive and gave great conversation, awesome guy! We can't recommend them enough!

I love this place. Their barbecue is on point every time. They have 3 different barbecue sauces you can try at your table. Service is fast and friendly. Their bbq fries are delicious, and I especially love their pork ribs. Very tender and flavorful. Their Texas toast garlic butter bread was amazing.

Good food all around. Tried the double butt burger, ribs, BBQ tots, mac & cheese, baked beans, one of the bowls, and all 3 sauces. Also bread pudding. All of it was impressive.

Hoban Korean Barbecue is such a great and unique dining experience that I highly recommend trying at least once. They have the traditional Barbecue grilling experience with the grill in the middle of your table that you can grill your own meats on. They have a great and delicious assortment of different cuts of meats to choose from. All of the meat choices I've tried have been absolutely delicious. You get a ton of sides and vegetables along side your meats and can make some really cool dishes. The service was great and friendly. Its a fun experience to do with friends or family.

this was SO GOOD! my friends and i came here last night around 9pm. they got us a table quickly (we were walk-ins) and our order was taken fast. the service was amazing, shout out to logan! he made our experience here 10x better. the food was top tier and everything about hoban was just fun. i definitely recommend this place.

Long wait despite having reservations. The food was great, but my only complaint is that they don't warn you when they're out of sauces for tempura or mandu. Those are items only enjoyable with dipping sauce and I wouldn't have ordered them had I known they were out of sauce. Tempura eaten dry is especially terrible. The japchae is the absolute bomb, so delicious.
