Everyone else is right. The donuts and building are great. Retro and kitschy but most of all fun. If you’re reading this review trying to decide if you should go. Do it. Highly endorse. I had the OG and the vegan donuts. Both great. Vegan donut was a little more dense, but ultimately just as good as the others. If you’re the owner/manager/staff reading this. Great job. Thank you! The staff the morning of Mar 22 ‘25 could not have been better. Helpful, funny, thoughtful and cool! Any business would be lucky to have them.

Vegans like donuts too!! Thank you for including us! I’ve been a patron of this place for years and the donuts are always delicious and the service is always super friendly. They are particularly aware and helpful of any type of food preference or allergy, offering things like separate boxes for non-dairy or nuts etc. While I usually get mine to go, the funky, bright atmosphere inside always makes you want to stay and hang out. Thank you for being inclusive in all the ways.

This cute donut/coffee shop has a great atmosphere, great service and delicious donuts. The employees were very helpful, personable, and warm and welcoming. There is "easy" street parking depending on the time of day. I did not try the coffee this time but I will next time. We tried the Coffee Cake Cake Donut and the Flirty Frenchie with espresso cream cheese and vanilla frosting. The Coffee Cake one was awesome, the other one I could not taste the espresso in the cream cheese. I will definitely come back and try more!

Stopped by to get something sweet and delicious before braving the 8° weather and was helped by Lily. Excellent service would be an understatement. I was showed the delicacies and then given recommendations. I went with the Carmel Delight and the Cherry Almond with the Miel Latte. Thanks for the great energy I will definitely be back. Please go check them out and ask for Lily!!!!

Best donuts EVER! I’ve never liked an old-fashioned donut until I tried theirs. Absolutely magical and I love all their new, fun creations!! And great place to have a meeting.

Came in today for a few donuts and coffee before work, the employees are so kind and friendly and everything on the menu is phenomenal. The blueberry cobbler filled donut is so soft and decadent, the filling has citrus and clove notes in it. The espresso is aromatic and very smooth. If you have time, please check them out!

BOGART'S DOUGHNUT CO. REVIEWS

This was the first thing I ate in 2025 and it did not disappoint. I love the texture of their donuts. They’re soft but have just the right amount of chew. The vanilla bean buttercream is silky and not too sweet and I love that they are sugared not glazed. BUT don’t snooze on the brown butter and regular glazed, they’re also great. The vanilla bean cold brew was “fine”.

I had the lavender donut and it was fantastic! It was not heavy like most cake donuts. It was light and airy. The lavender flavor was perfect and not overpowering at all.

If Bakers Wife has the best cake doughnuts in Minneapolis, these are the best raised. The brown butter glaze is absolutely delicious and the dough itself isn’t too sweet. Disregard the over-hyping of Glam Doll (which has served me raw dough — twice!) and go here for your fancy doughnuts. My only quibble is that the portion sizes are so large.
