KONO'S CAFE REVIEWS
Counter service for a quick bite! You should probably get here before 9 AM because after that the line is at least 30 minutes. We only had to wait for about 10 minutes to order and then the food came out really quick after in a seat yourself type situation with both indoor and outdoor seating. I had the breakfast burrito #1 with sausage egg and avocado which is the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in San Diego yet. My wife had the breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed as well, we got plain coffee which was freshly brewed and tasted homey. Really neat surfer vibe cafe I’d enjoy again in the future and love to take guests to as it’s right on the boardwalk/path area in front of the ocean! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with quick food service Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, single story and no steps to enter.
This was a really nice little breakfest spot. The workers super nice. Asked us how our day was! They have a little patio across the way that faces the water. It is an experience , not just a food spot. The Cashier remember our names! Everyone in bilingual. It's funny because the Cashier called my best friend Roberto because we said his name was Bobby. It was such a cool and fun experience. If you want to take someone special to have a nice little chat with delicious food. Come here! Parking: Little difficult because it's right on the board walk Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
We ordered egg burrito #5, which has chorizo and jalapeños. The burrito was big enough to share and a good deal for the price. It was fresh, flavorful, and spicy without being too salty. It's not pretending to be more than it is; what you get is worth the long wait. We waited in line for about 20 minutes and waited an additional 5-10 minutes for our food to be made. The indoor seating was sparse and cramped, and we ate outdoors. There was enough outdoor seating when we went, but it would fill up quickly during peak hours.

CAFE 222 REVIEWS
A lovely breakfast restaurant and family friendly. We had breakfast here 2 days in a row during our 5-day visit of the city. It was really lovely and the food was very tasty. The staff there was friendly, and despite how busy the place was, we were taken pretty good care. The only caution is that on a weekend, there will be a bit of a wait depends on the time you visit there. Overall, it was great and the waffle was delicious!!
OMG after long searches for a perfect what I rate 10 breakfast restaurant, i happened to find this gold mine while passing through. All the food is amazing because I watched as it was coming out. If you want a cinnamon roll from heaven this is the place. If you want a country style breakfast with all the trimming, this is the place. And if you are a family of four and on a budget this is the place for you. I will make it a point from here on forth to put this place as one of my stops when passing through.
Solid breakfast spot with unique offing on old favorites. Cornbread waffle , thick slice ham, very satisfying. Smells of coffee filled the air.

PERRY'S CAFE REVIEWS
Decided to just go have breakfast Va cooking it myself and what a great decision on a Sunday morning. Went out with my date and we had the chicken fried steaks and country fried steak with hash brown and or home fries as you can see in the picture I like hot sauce, lol. But overall great vibe and the food was amazing, finger licking, didn’t take long and best of all lots of parking available. Will share pictures. Kid-friendliness: I heard a kid in the background say “ mommy this is delicious” kids don’t lie much and great critics.
Hands down one of the best breakfast places in town. They have huge line of people waiting outside but the line moves quick. We ordered Zucchini Frittata and Pecan waffle. The food was absolutely wholesome! And very friendly staff. If I’m ever back in Old Town again I will definitely come here!!
Classic American diner with really great food! Great value as well as portions are huge and the food is really tasty! I especially liked the french toast and the hash browns.
