TOP 3 K SANDWICHES REVIEWS
I give K Sandwiches a solid 5. The food was fresh, there's a bakery on-site, service was courteous and efficient. I ordered the grilled pork Ban Mi and it came with seasoned grilled pork, pickled jicama, cilantro, jalapeños, pickled carrots on a baguette. It seemed like there was a light sauce that added to the flavor without dripping out or making the baguette soggy. My friend got the avocado smoothie which had a nice light avocado flavor and it's made with real avocado not powder. I also picked up pastries to take home. The chocolate croissant was a favorite. I would recommend K Sandwiches for sandwiches, bakery - and smoothies. We ate on the patio outside. The shop was getting busy, we were there just before 11am on a Saturday, the staff kept up with orders and there was plenty if seating. I've adjusted the atmosphere rating due to the tables inside weren't clean- they needed just a wipe down after each patron left.
This place has been around a long time. It was remodeled a few years ago and it looks great. The food is excellent. My favorite is the beef bah mi sandwich. They have a great variety of sandwiches and they have an excellent selection of prepared Asian food. They also have a bakery and the baguettes are the best.
Second time here, good lemongrass tofu banh mi, actually crunchy baguette, also huge! (Doesnt come w mayo so have to ask for that.) Simple but tasty tofu spring rolls that come with peanut sauce. Will try their wall of croissants next time.

TOP 3 CHEBA HUT TOASTED SUBS REVIEWS
First time getting from here and man was I impressed. I ordered through DoorDash and the order showed up about 20 min later. I ended up getting the Acapulco Gold, Pinner size which is 8”. The barbecue flavor was tasty without being overwhelming, along with pickles and perfectly cooked chicken. I recommend their garlic herb roll, great savory kick! Highly recommend this place for great quality sandwiches with well balanced flavor! The picture I posted only shows half the sandwich as I ate the first half in minutes!
Amazing! Wasn’t aware that there was a Cheba Hut in LA, was ecstatic to come across it in LA as a San Diego transplant. From the moment I walked in, Employees down to the owner Travis was amazing! And plus they have plenty of seating, Games and open late. Finally, a slice of the amazing food I’m used to here in LA.
Very friendly fun place with a great theme. It seems like it takes a bit longer then an average fast food joint so it felt kinda slow for the style of food, but great staff and atmosphere. The gooballs are amazing lol.

TOP 3 BOARD & BREW REVIEWS
Been here over twenty times, this location always has fresh tasting beer (they must know how to properly clean taps), super friendly service, and never wait more than 5-8 minutes even if it’s busy! They always assemble their sandwiches with care - I’ve never had a sloppy sandwich from here. Chips are yummy but have you tried their potato salad?????! It’s an often overlooked item that you should definitely get next time you order from here. My mom is vegetarian and LOVES this potato salad - perfectly cooked potatoes, more of a mustard-base, and fair portion size. I love that they offer discounted beer for happy hour (starts at 3 during the week), one beer and a sandwich aka dinner for less than $20 is lovely. It’s hard to find a sandwich shop now that is affordable with quality ingredients. Board and Brew has and continues to be a San Diego staple for any sandwich you could imagine and ESPECIALLY their veggie sandwich. Sunflower seeds add such a nice crunch and flavor. Genius!!! I come here often and I’m always greeted promptly, helped with any questions, and even get great beer recommendations from the staff. I love this location in particular but all of you guys rock! 4S/Del Sur is nice but I find gets too busy. Parking lot isn’t great (tinyyyy spots, cramped, hard to get out of this lot) but if you go at an off hour you should be okay.
Been hesitant on rating this place as I have had mixed experiences the first two times. Third time a charm as sandwiches were great, beer was great, and service was great. Each time as been better so I hope they can keep it up. On sandwich, they actually filled it heavy with meat and condiments finally which made it all worth it! Cheers to the team and good vibies. Will be back and hope to get the same service!
Large delicious sandwiches. Tom's Choice is my favorite. Dogs are allowed on the deck. Has a bar inside as well.
