3 Best Car Repair Shops in New Haven, CT

East Rock Auto Repairs has been my go-to shop! They’re quick, friendly, and they do a great job! I recently took my Honda Civic back into them (it has had a long journey LOL) after a fender bender and the care and quality of their service has not once been inconsistent! The entire time they are very communicative and their billing is incredibly transparent. They also send all diagnostic information electronically and then call to go over the findings with you as well. It’s also easy to either approve or decline certain repairs that way! I highly recommend this shop.

Great place to take your car! I was having AC issues and they did a whole check up of the car and even took pictures of the issues. They recommended some additional changes, but were never pushy which I really appreciate (it didn’t seem like they were trying to scam me). The AC runs perfectly now, and I ended up asking them to fix something else which is also going great! East Rock Auto will be my go-to shop from now on.

These guys did excellent work on my Honda Accord, stayed open late on a long weekend to get my car ready despite being ahead of the promised delivery date, and priced more than fairly. The shop is clean, well managed, and full of great people. I can’t recommend them enough.

Absolute kindest people to work with! I and others I know have gone to Tony’s in a pinch over the years as it is the closest shop to me in East Rock and George and his crew are always willing to go the extra mile which is really refreshing these days! I can only attest to working with them on oil changes and tire fixing and replacing but they’d be my first call for other issues as I know they’ll jump in to assist and be honest and also REASONABLE prices! Simply the best.

Great mechanic shop with fair prices, professional staff, and high quality service. I used Tony's several times for repairs and each issue that they worked on was thoroughly addressed, with no problems reappearing once the work was complete. I also appreciated the helpful explanations from the mechanics after each job, as it gave a non-car savvy person like myself a clear idea as to what was going on under the hood.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Tony's Auto Services! They made my trip quick, easy and seamless. Prices were much more reasonable than other larger shops in the area. Most important the staff is incredibly warm and kind, and made me feel right at home even though I had never come in before. I am so glad I found them and will definitely be going back.
