Guardian Chimney Sweep wasn't the lowest or the highest bid we got, they were right in the middle. However, their office staff was responsive and extremely knowledgeable and Charles worked, in unbearable summer heat, to repair a cracked crown on the top of our chimney and did a great job! He even secured a soffit vent on the second story we couldn't reach and attached a clamp to the damper, which we had been unable to do ourselves. We were very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

I had consulted another company whose prices were outrageous and I suspected the estimate given was for work I didn't need.
