3 Best Custom Cabinets in Oakland, CA

We initially thought we would go with some ikea cabinets; however, after mulling over different configurations, we decided that the best option was to go with a custom build, and I'm really glad that we did. Rick came to the house and measured out our kitchen. We spoke about different options and what we ultimately wanted to do. We had a pretty complex remodel as we planned to move the stove/oven and needed something that would allow us to maximize the storage in the space. Given that we live on a bay farm in Alameda, space is always so limited. We were really happy about Rick's suggestions and the quality of the material that was used. Rex custom cabinets made the cabinets for our home in 2001. The cabinets are beautiful and have stood up well in a house with kids and chaos. One of the hinges on one of the cabinets broke, so I took the door in to purchase a new hinge. Rick had to search for parts seeing as how the hinge was 20 years old. He found the needed parts and repaired the door, and then refused to allow me to pay for his time or the part. This is the kind of care and service that you rarely see anymore. I will recommend Rick at Rex cabinets at the highest level of satisfaction possible.

We just renovated our kitchen and ordered cabinets and countertop both through Sincere. Gabbie and Emrick were the most helpful. We visited many different vendors early on and Gabbie's advice was the most sincere, and ended up being all the correct ones for us. Their price is very good and their customer service is excellent. From design configurations, to sample/color selections, to ordering and scheduling, to dealing with unexpected supply chain issues, they were responsive and really helped us every step along the way. Gabbie even gave us great referrals and recommendations on other related products such as kitchen hood and ideas on appliances. We are very happy with how everything turned out. I would recommend them to anyone we know who wants to renovate their kitchen.
