I was able to reserve my spot online days ahead (reservations are good for 7 days). Keith helped me at the San Pablo location in downtown Oakland and was super clear and helpful with the renting process. Awesome guy. Make sure you bring your own lock though, but you can purchase one here as well!.

Crystal was literally amazing! I came in very indecisive and stressed having to move last minute. Her patience with me was appreciated for all the questions I had. Just appreciate her being the calm within my storm. The unit worked out perfectly.

Rented a storage unit today and place was perfect size for me and also Crystal gave me great customer service was very polite and showed me everything I needed to know I feel great about this storage unit.

SJ is awesome. She always helps out with a smile and is very thorough. She gets the job done. Met Titus and Kyle today. New employees. Very friendly. Not happy with the hours of the place. Been here for several years with a few units for a local business. I have seen an improvement with security. Cheaper than any others storage facilities around. Easy to access. I have been informed that the access hours may change back to longer hours.

I had a amazing experience at the oakland location Khalid was awesome and was right there whenever I needed anything. He explained everything perfectly clear and even offered his help loading a washing machine so I didn't get hurt in the process. I highly recommend this location especially if you want excellent service with a smile. Definitely will be back for sure SJ was very helpful and assisted me with any questions and concerns. Definitely will be a long term tenet for sure

The young lady who works the front desk was helpful and courteous. She definitely deserves a raise or promotion. People like her make Smartstop a great place to do business.
