Arthur Murray Dance Center of Pittsburgh

My husband and I came to Arthur Murray in Pittsburgh to learn a choreographed dance for our August 2021 wedding. We wanted a routine that was fun, showy, and more complicated than traditional first dances - but still performable in a giant wedding gown! Anne was our private dance instructor, and we couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. She designed and personalized our special dance to L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole that made us smile every time we practiced, and also blew our friends and family away at the reception. We also attended multiple group lessons to learn the basics of various styles of dancing (East Coast Swing, West Coast Swing, Salsa, etc), which has given us more confidence on the dance floor at our other friends weddings. All of the instructors are great here. Learning to dance with my husband was honestly my most favorite part of the entire wedding planning process, and we have Arthur Murray to thank!

What a great place to be. The atmosphere is phenomenal! Such a friendly comfortable place to meet new people and socialize plus excellence in dance education! PS... wear whatever you wish but if you like glamour or crave a place to wear your “fun” clothes - bring it on!

The ONLY place to go if you want to learn to dance socially! Everyone is wonderful, helpful, kind, encouraging, and most importantly patient. Especially, Lydia! Don't miss the Monday Dance Parties, they allow you to build your confidence. The most fun we have every week is at Arthur Murray Downtown.
