ACOMA TRAINING CENTER REVIEWS
I am so grateful to Trish and the loving staff at Acoma. I had rescued a 2y/o who had some stress-related behaviors and was worried he would ultimately hurt someone seriously. With staff and training, the transformation was amazing. He eventually became a part of a loving family with other dogs and is a great helper dog. Thank you all so much and would recommend this facility for all.
Acoma was recommended by NM Animal Humane when we got our new dog, so we gave them a shot. Completely blown away! Trish is amazing! She really helped our shy, scared little puppy come out of her shell. Trish understands dogs and makes a point to get to know them to focus their training. We haven't done any advanced classes yet, which they offer, but Acoma is totally worth the investment for if anything, the basic training.
Great place for all ages of dogs and owners to get a little fundamental and continue through agility and advanced training.

PAWSITIVE TRAINING ABQ REVIEWS
Georgette was great to work with and my puppy, Hopper, loved her! She helped us learn practical ways to reinforce good behavior that works well for us and highlights our puppy's smart and curious nature. Georgette provided us with lots of resources to use to keep building our skills as puppy parents. We highly recommend her.
I adopted my girl about a year ago. She was really bad on a leash and we had some other issues to work out. Georgette came in and helped give tools and guidance in a way that my dog and I both enjoyed. We’re still working on what we’ve been taught. We’re looking forward to starting back up with Georgette on dog reactivity this week.
Pawsitive Training ABQ was everything we hoped for our puppy and more! Georgette was incredibly responsive and prompt any time we contacted her whether it was via text or email. Every training session we had was thoughtfully planned out ahead of time with things our family and Georgette agreed we wanted to work on with our puppy. She was always on time and fully addressed absolutely everything we wanted to discuss during our training sessions. Our favorite part was that Georgette included our 5 and 7 year olds in the training sessions! We finished our time with Pawsitive Training with an amazing puppy as well as amazing knowledge on how to train him, what he likes, what works for him, etc. I would recommend Georgette in a heartbeat! She is amazing and so knowledgeable at what she does and we just can't thank her enough or speak highly enough about her.

SIT MEANS SIT DOG TRAINING ALBUQUERQUE REVIEWS
I have a 4 year old female pit bull named Aluna , who has a history of aggression and sadly been in a few fights. When she had her last fight I knew I had to do something, I looked into Sit means Sit booked a demo and the staff there were so friendly. You could tell they really cared about my dog and the issues going on because of how many questions they asked about her. They didn’t pressure me into buying a package right there I actually waited a month before putting her in the board and train program. I was talking to them about my money concern but they worked with me to make a payment plan just to make sure that I was able to train my dog so I did not have to rehome her or anything. The staff truly care about each and every dog that comes to the facility. Now my fur baby has the best attitude and we work everyday to continue her training, plus we were able to learn where her aggressive comes from.
The folks at Sit Means Sit are so positive and friendly! They work with you to train your dog, and you won't believe how quickly you see a change in behavior. My dog was trying to herd traffic, and we couldn't take him for walks without being pulled into the street after big trucks. He is now so well behaved! The classes are fun, and my dog loves going!SMS is forthcoming and transparent about their use of e-collars, which are different from shock collars. It's natural to have reservations about using this tool for training, and it took me time to understand my dog's responses and working level. If you have a commitment to your animal and want to build a strong bond and level of ongoing trust, you have to understand that YOU are the true the trainee, not your dog. The benefit of lifetime training and teamwork with Kevin is a value that, for me, outweighs the cost. I should post video of his excited response to me removing the collar from its charge and turning it on - to Kevin, the collar means "adventure ahead!"
We adopted our dog from the shelter and he was not socialized to be around other dogs. With the training and support of Sit Means Sit, this was our dog this week. We can't thank you enough, as he is now a calmer and more responsive dog on the trail on walks and around other dogs.
