I love this place. I been coming here 10 years now. Whenever I’m around this part of town I try to cruise by for a donut for my husband and I. I love the sausage croissants as well. My favorite donut is either the m’ n m or the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. If you can find the parking to come here it’s worth it. Little expensive, especially for donuts. But every now and then a sweet treat is good for the soul.

It had been quite a while since I’ve been here for donuts and I was pleased the place remains excellent. We stopped by early morning, around 7am & ordered a half dozen donuts. The panda donut was as delicious as I remembered, so happy I stopped by after being away from Los Angeles too long. The horchata donut was also delicious.

Had my first “California Donuts” experience. I think its cool that they are open 24/7 so late night donut runs can be a thing.

DONUT FRIEND REVIEWS

Donut Friend is a never fail vegan donut and ice cream shop located on York St in Highland Park (there’s another location too but I always go to HLP). My favorite donut is the Strawberrylab with a special shoutout to the Angry Samoa. Everything is very fresh always and reasonably priced. Great cold brew too. Highly recommend.

A lot of very appealing looking donuts. I had the compassion fruit Donut. Great flavor and soft texture how you would expect it. Service was also friendly and fast.

Loved the strawberry lab donut! The donuts are so delicious and this location also has a few ice cream flavors too. It’s all vegan but you would never be able to tell… At least I couldn’t.

I first went here yesterday. I daily go park and running at there. So I always saw this store. I thought yesterday is good for first sk doughnut day. Thesedays is season of haloween. I bought two dought at here. One is the season menu. The texture was so nice. When I realize, I almost ate two doughnut. So I visited here today morning, I bought two and got free one. Staffs are kindly people. So I was so happy. Maybe I will frequently go here. I think they make delicious doughnut with good ingredients. I hope this store keep going for a long long time.

This donut shop is top rated for a reason. For those who are looking for the old faithful donut of your childhood, a perfect glazed. If you are a donut foodie this is a great stop. Banana foster donut is delicious. Very friendly staff.

Came in last night with my husband. We used to come here alot but started going to California donuts because they’re 24 hours. However, I was quickly reminded of why I love this place. The donuts are amazing, not too sweet and the variety is. The customer service is also really good. We will be back asap.
