YANG CHOW RESTAURANT REVIEWS
I really enjoyed this place. The food and the service were both exceptional. I ordered the slippery shrimp because that appeared to be the most popular dish based on the reviews. Initially, I thought it was a little pricey; that is, until it came. They literally give you a pile of shrimp. It's all fresh and pretty tasty too. They give you so much, that it was actually quite difficult choking it all down without needing to get a carryout box. Another thing that stood out was the service. They were all very friendly and accommodating. Overall, between the food quality, the portions and the terrific service, this place is well worth the visit.
I've been going here for over 35 years and I'll keep going. Slippery Shrimp is truly a gift to the world. Everything else is excellent as well. My go-to for old style American Chinese food. Parking: Behind the restaurant.
Ambience neat. Friendly Service. Foods were great. Do try their homemade Chilli oil . To go foods are packed by them. That was kind. Good Mulan hot tea. Fortune cookie was one of my favorite fun.

WON KOK RESTAURANT REVIEWS
Dim sum here is very cheap and excellent. Lots of food for a good price. I swear downtown LA charges double price for the same exact items and same taste. Dinner meals are also great. Skip the fried dishes and get some real Chinese food like their eggplant dish or half chicken ginger dish and some rice. We liked those dishes a lot. Cooked Chinese eggplant correctly. The eggplant dish can use a bit more eggplant though. The restaurant should consider keeping its floors cleaner though. Not a fan of sticky floors... Parking: Free parking lot in front of restaurant. Also cheap paid street parking on sale block as restaurant.
Great place for solid dumplings for dine in or takeout. The chicken corn soup was some of the best soup I ever had. It was a bit ubdersalted which I prefer because it’s easier to add salt than to take away. Great prices and overall a solid find with easy parking. The egg custard tarts were absolutely delicious!
My one my favorite stops in Los Angeles. This little spot is a gem. I love dim sum, baked pork bums. Food is awesome! You will not be disappointed.

BAO DIM SUM HOUSE REVIEWS
Bao Dim Sum House is my neighborhood go to for delicious authentic affordable dim sum dishes! I would say it compares to din tai fung but better portions and much cheaper. Listen, the quality is still there, most dishes are good to share and some you might want for yourself, but whatever you are into they have it. Service for the most part was friendliest but make sure you come on a weekday to get a full experience I feel like when it’s busy it’s lacking but overall Ive been here more than once. Parking is typical street parking, they might have valet but you have to double check. Overall definitely get the juicy dumplings, The juicy roulette and the duck it’s a must!
Despite not having a lunch reservation, I was seated immediately. (Just me in my party) The service was swift, the tables and booth areas were kept clean, and the food is always good! I had low expectations for the salt and pepper calamari, but the dish was so tasty and ended up being my favorite. If you want to try a few dishes, dine with someone and order different items! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian dumplings and sides, but the majority of dishes contain meat/seafood- a common thing. Parking: The neighborhood has permit-only parking, so you have to find metered street parking. I have never had to park more than 2 blocks away. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant largely contains tables in the seating area with a separated bar. I'm sure the kids will find the food tasty. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on one level- no stairs. Chairs at tables can be moved to accommodate for a wheelchair.
Very authentic food, love the atmosphere and the service. High quality dim sum, contemporary modern type of setting that you see in the west LA Beverly Hills area. Would highly recommend if you love dim sum.
