Gmel Driving Academy

I recently took driving lessons from Gmel driving academy after a not so great experience with another driving school. And, I had a great experience with Gmel driving academy and the instructor Gilbert in particular. Gilbert prepared me for my driving test within only 6 hours and I was able to pass my road test on first attempt. He is very effective at what he does; his approach is very methodical and calm. I really liked the fact that he quickly picked up on my weaknesses and provided specific suggestions to improve them. He is also very professional, friendly and punctual; definite pluses. I highly recommend Gmel driving academy!

Gilbert helped me pass the exam by teaching me tips on parallel parking! I had a class with him a few days before my exam, during a time when the snow in DC was really coming down. Despite this, Gilbert was very patient and gave me good tips on how to parallel park. I was very glad to pass! Even more, he saw me the day I passed my exam and congratulated me! I highly recommend taking a class with Gilbert! You will definitely learn a lot from a patient and kind teacher!

I had two lessons (both 2 hours) with Mr. Gilbert. He was very patient and encouraging. He helped me so much with parallel parking and I’ve improved so much that I passed my driver’s test!!! I switched to the Gmel driving school after I failed my test the first time. But after two lessons, I had the tools I needed to pass. Thanks!
