3 Best Apartments For Rent in Washington, DC

After being at Novel since 2021, last month was my final month at Novel starting a new chapter in New Orleans. I really miss living there and working with the staff, but especially Stephanie and Becca. They were always so helpful with any issue I had. There was never a maintenance issue unaddressed, never a billing issue that went unaddressed. I read some reviews, but there's nothing said that wasn't agreed to in the lease (consolidated billing). Sometimes it seems a bit much, but any logical unentitled human being will figure out that in the hot as hell summer months, and cold AF winter months, you're going to pay more for utilities, heat, a/c, etc., it's not that hard to figure out...but I digress. Even up until the last day when my moving company was late and ran past my scheduled loading dock reservation time, Natalie and another concierge member were making sure that my move-out experience went smoothly while ensuring another individual moving in had the same great experience. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Thank you for the 4 years of laughs, pool parties, Christmas parties, ears to listen to personal problems and yes, a shoulder to cry on (thank you Stephanie). To anyone looking for a great place to live, don’t miss the wonderful experience of living here!!

I've lived here close to two years and feel quite at home. I love the amenities, the building, the amount of space and aesthetics my apartment offers, the views of both the Capitol and Monument, and my own private balcony....need I say more? Why yes, I think I will! One of the best aspects of living at Novel for me has been the leasing, maintenance, and concierge staff. Every time (not often) I have had to raise a service ticket to maintenance, they've responded quickly, have been timely, and are extremely professional. The maintenance staff are polite and respectful. Vasil, Adrienne, Walter and the rest of the crew are top notch in providing outstanding service, backed by years of knowledge and expertise! The Leasing staff consists of experienced, driven individuals who know and always greet me by name. From day one, Becca has ensured our living experience exceeds our expectations and right from the lobby, both Michael and Bryce always make me feel superbly welcome and right at home. Lastly, the concierge staff is equally as outstanding at Novel! Darren, Stephanie, Keith, Maria and the rest of the concierge team manage the front lobby efficiently and professionally.

Novel offers robust amenities and is convenient to Capitol Hill, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and more. Their best asset, however, is Stephanie, who extends a warm welcome to both residents and visitors.

Leasing office ~ They definitely hired the right team members I have not seen attitude from one person in that office ! Y’all I’m obsessed with my apartment, the leasing agents I had was Brandy & Zaire I hope I spelled it right . Anywho they were the best Brandy does a wonderful job she was very quick but also in a sense where EVERYTHING was explained you can tell she enjoys her job and we don’t see a lot of that today ! Zaire was also the one who help me with my tour and some of my paper work he was amazing . The amenities ~ Pay that fee y’all won’t regret it. If you care about your safety and your kids ( if you have any ) you’ll be grateful. Everything was perfect prior to me moving in I love everything about this complex !

N’dora is amazing in general the way she operates the building the decor is top of the line with people dogs she’s truly a blessing to know her is to adore her. Great & Diamond from leasing is the 1st face I met here she was just extraordinarily family inviting made me feel at home then introducing me to her wonderful team Zaire Brandy (Aaron) FRANKLIN leasing I also want to give special shout out to Vincent Cloud for an excellent job on finalizing everything for my stay at Avalon it’s grand & Conceirge ect team security everyone maintenance awesome. I have been living here for three months now and the place has been an absolute dream. Everyone is so kind and the amenities are very useful. I’m so lucky to live in such a nice part of DC.
