I had a fantastic experience shopping at Lovely Bride DC! I was pretty nervous about dress shopping in the first place, and after shopping at two other stores I hadn't had any success. My stylist, Michelle, was fantastic to work with - she was super warm, asked for my reflections on my experience so far, and pulled great options to get started. She was a great listener throughout the process, too, and really went above and beyond to help me find/customize a dress I love. I can't wait to wear my dress at my wedding next year - thank you, Michelle.

I had the pleasure to work with Leeann at my appointment and not only did she help me find a dress I would’ve never thought to pick, but she made me feel so comfortable and good about myself!! She was extremely transparent about pricing and basically read my mind when it came to vibe and preferences. I can’t say enough good things, truly truly a beautiful experience. All of my guests had so much fun and felt as cared for by Leeann as I did! I can’t recommend her or Lovely enough.

I worked with Daniela and the team on transforming my mother's wedding dress into my own dream dress. This involved taking a Laura Ashley cotton batiste gown circa 1982 and making it look fresh, classic, preppy and romantic for a yacht club wedding......They really went above and beyond...when I lost some wight quickly before the wedding, they were able to whisk me back in with my dress for a final fitting. The experience was a little anxiety-inducing at first (was I really not going to have a "say yes to the dress moment a a bridal salon?"), but I quickly became excited and completely at ease in their hands. I felt so beautiful in the dress, and it was a huge hit at the wedding...The value was incredible. I know that I paid less in alterations than many of my friends with designer gown alteration needs that require skill, but not the same level of artistry. I will return for other dress alteration needs.

I am so happy I took my wedding dress to Green and Blue Studio for alterations. I had a gorgeous ball gown with many intricate details and beaded crystals on the bodice-beautiful but definitely needed a skilled expert to make any alterations. When I first got my wedding dress it was too large, and I was nervous that it would be difficult to alter. But Green and Blue Studio did a flawless job, and it looked and felt perfect on my wedding day. I highly recommend Green and Blue to anyone with a couture wedding dress that needs alterations.

I wanted to have a bolero made from my grandmother's dress to wear over my strapless dress. They did an incredible job and matched the bolero perfectly to my dress! Something old and something new.
