GOURMANDISE REVIEWS

We've been going to Gourmandise for years now on our annual trips to visit the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. It's a cozy little bakery-cum-cafe that serves delicious French-themed meals at breakfast, lunch, and supper. When weather is nice, it's pleasant to eat outside where there's ample seating. The bakery section offers an enticing mouth-watering selection of pastries, custards, quiches, etc. Among our favorites on the lunch and dinner menu are the saumon en croute and French onion soup, both pictured below. Until recently, alcohol was not available (can anyone say Mormon Utah?). Now, they serve wine and beer with meals, and that's a very welcome addition. A state-run liquor store is also conveniently right across the street, by the by. For those staying at hotels in the downtown area, Gourmandise is conveniently located very close to downtown Salt Lake.

I frequent this place for breakfast. Always quickly served though the place is often busy. Great service. The atmosphere is inviting. The desserts are delicious though, as expected for a place like this, a little pricey. Overall definitely recommend, especially for breakfast/brunch/lunch!

A coworker told me about this bakery in Salt Lake City, so we visited it one day. As a pastry chef, I always appreciate trying new pastries, and I was very pleased with everything I sampled. I highly recommend it.

We went on a Saturday right at noon and the wait was 20 minutes. The service was great and we got our food fast. The breakfast burrito was super tasty and had lots of good flavor, I do wish there was some meat in it. The Parmesan Brioche Benedict was super tasty, the hollandaise sauce was top notch. I was happy with both orders. The breakfast potatoes were so good for no reason, I need to know how to make them. Would recommend Brunch here.

This brunch place offers a relaxed vibe and delicious food. Expect a 45-minute wait on weekends, but it’s worth it. The avocado sourdough toast and house hot salmon hash are both tasty. The coffee is just okay. Overall, a nice spot for a casual brunch.

This place is so cute and cozy!! The pancakes really were the star of the show but the avocado toast and breakfast burrito were amazing too!! Definitely would come again!!

Our first time there and had an amazing experience. I celebrated my birthday here. The food was absolutely delicious and appetizing to the eyes as well. Good portions too. Our server Chaz was very helpful and attentive - everyone was attentive, even the chefs, Clarissa came to check to make sure we were having a good dining experience and they all wished me a happy birthday. We were stuffed by the end of the meal and wished we had more room to try the other offers in the menu. Will definitely recommend!

Perfect location near the Delta Center; great for a meal before or after a game/concert. Nice new design and high quality food to go with it.

Lovely experience! Super intimate atmosphere! We had Isai as a server and he was super wonderful! We will most definitely be back!
