Pho Tay Ho is a dream come true for Mai, who had immigrated as a refugee from the Vietnam War to the United States in the 1980s. Her restaurant initially opened in 1995 and was located on the first floor of an apartment complex in Salt Lake City. This restaurant has the best Pho in the whole valley. There are no additives like MSG in their food, and the broth is refreshing and light. They give you the sauces in bottles, instead of small dishes. They offer the option of a vegetarian/vegan pho. Pho Tay Ho is a classic Vietnamese noodle soup & salty lemonade served in a modest house. The main entree is Pho, a Vietnamese-specific dish made up of rice noodles, vegetables, and various beef cuts.
